Was looking for bluetooth good quality headphones yesterday, and wasn't going to pay £50 and up. I'll buy these for less than £20 though.
What's the quality like and sound profile...

Anyone got a pair?

Agreed, really want to know what the aptX is actually like...I've had things that say they are aptX and are frankly useless for audio sync.

Aptx won't garauntee low latency, for that you'll need something like aptx LL or aptx HD.

You're absolutely right; I neglected to note the lack of LL on the description
can these be used while on charge?
have a great pair of Motorola but cant be used while on charge.

I haven't a clue what Aptx is, or supposed to be. Is it the equivalent of "go faster stripes" ?

Nope, Bluetooth compresses music so that it can fit into the Bluetooth bandwidth comfortably, for that to happen it gets rid of some of the Good stuff you also wanted .. since music on your phone is already compressed and has already become a victim to this ear sore, compression twice harms already worse sounding music.
Aptx helps with having a codec that keeps a lot more music near original in fact and also helps with latency or the sound delay you get with Bluetooth.

So aptx is a very very good thing, but both the transmitter and receiver must support it otherwise it defaults with regular Bluetooth SBC or AAC if that's available.

Absolutely. aptX really should be the minimum nowadays, but sadly almost everything is SBC with a possibility of AAC and nothing more. aptX HD is great, not perfect with the latency.

I'm a aptx fan all the way, but I've found BT 5 has so much bandwidth that if both devices support the high bandwidth then the quality will easily equal aptx .
The SBC codec has the bandwidth to behave itself, and then there's AAC if that's available...
AAC sounds better to my ears than SBC.

I've found this with my newer BT 5 earphones.. not missing aptx at all!. Would still love to get a good bt5 aptx hd pair!..the hunt never ends does it?.....

What about latency? BT5 to BT5?

I found it to be excellent, however due to the way the audio stack in android is implemented it's very manufacturer dependant. For example Samsung's are particularly atrocious for BT lag, but again it a roll of the dice. I know LG value audio so they seemed to have a done a decent enough job on that front, including a BT specific EQ, although I would like it to be earphone specific, including remembering which codec I prefer.
In my case it a lg g7+ with an qcy T1 pro earphones with AAC codec.

They do seem like the best deal for (cheap) aptX headphones at the moment, if the sound is decent.

For the price the quality is amazing. Sounds is clear and plenty of bass. Overall volume could do with being a little bit louder but still loud enough and the cushions drown out a lot of outside noise anyway. The design is a little bulky in size but light weight and comfy padding so feels good to wear. Bargain for what you're paying 🔥🔥

Got these today, and very impressed with sound, build quality, comfort. The memory foam earpads and leatherette covering are really soft. Sound quality is not that far off my Sennheiser 599s. Bargain for £19, cheers OP! They are a bit bulky though so better for home use unless you like the Cyberman look.
