you can get the plantronics backbeat 500 (used) for £22 delivered from Amazon. Ive just bought a pair and while it didn't come in a retail box, it was in as new condition and included the accessories (pouch, 3.5mm audio lead and usb charger).
Amazon warehouse have them at £52 and Amazon direct are £68 so the £22 is a very good deal, preferable IMHO to the Taotronics.

Excellent manufacturer! Heat added.
I have a pair of tao tronics cans ( wireless) they're excellent value good sound though maybe too bass heavy for some ( decent EQ setting sorts that out ) have a dollop of heat just checked and mine are the BH028 model I can thoroughly recommend them although not for gym or running as your ears get quite hot in closed headphones !!

I like TaoTronics kit and I might have gone for this if I hadn't picked up the TT-BH060 for £32 the other day.

Hot from me.

I really want a pair of these to watch TV with. Been told I can buy a little thing to plug into my TV to make the Bluetooth work but someone told me not to bother as you get lag on the speech when trying to watch TV which is really annoying. Would there be lag with these ones too guys? Appreciate any advice. Ty

You want AptX codec compatibility to avoid speech sync with video.

Thanks for the hot tip. These sound like a bargain. Bought a pair and so there should be another 9 left.

Also a big fan of TaoTronics. Heat for the deal.

I read this, and actually just went and purchased a pair - However, I'm going to cancel as after a very quick search, I seen this 👇

And I was going to use them for the gym, so i don't lose, or almost lose, my Skullcandy crushers again (I've already had the dog eat 1 pair too) that was AFTER I'd left them in the gym and someone handed them in for me!
Now I'm just being cautious

I've had a problem with a previous pair of Plantronics earphones and the support was pretty good. They were lenient as to the warranty date and sent out a brand new pair on receipt of the faulty earphones. They feel well made and I thought for 20 odd quid they would likely be better than a similar costing pair of a Chinese brand.

Edit
Not sure how I would like these for gym/running as they may be quite sweaty as they are closed cup earphones. Keep an eye on eBay as the same seller sometimes has Plantronics Backbeat Fit for around £30 which I think are the best running earphones available. They are waterproof (mine went through the wash) and are not IEMs so allow you to hear a lot of the surroundings. You don't hear the thud thud of every step like you do with sealed IEMs.
I'm keeping an eye as to when they are having them back in stock as nobody else sells them nearly as cheap.

Absolutely better, I am just being super careful right now.
If I didn't have my crushers, I'd have gone for it and not cancelled, but for now, I'll wait til something better comes along... Brilliant spot tho so nice one!
Great headphones for the price, decent, clear sound & loud enough. Heat added.
How much delivery?

Both, it doesn't always stop latency but better than no aptx.

Both need to support it to work. There are also various different versions of aptx. There's just aptx which is better sound quality than standard bluetooth(SBC) and slightly lower latency(latency causes the delay, lower is better). Then there is Aptx low latency, this is specifically designed to have as low latency as possible and the same quality as aptx. This has drastically lower latency(around 40ms from iirc around 150 for normal aptx), However aptx LL isn't as common and when I was looking only a couple of headphones and transmitters supported it.

There is also the newer aptx HD which is even higher quality, however I've never been able to find exactly what the latency is like with it. Even fewer devices support this.
These are decent enough for the money. They lack any sense of noise cancelling, and struggle to interpret mids and highs, but they still manage to sound good considering the price. Build quality is good, and they're very light and comfy with good battery life. I'd recommend these if you have less than £20 to spend on set of headphones. Just a shame the range isn't a little better. Heat for the price
Is it sweat proof for gym?

I do not like to buy cheap headphones, are they really good?
These seem like an option when wired to play switch and use voice chat on paladins. Anyone know that would work for sure?

My daughter has a different set of TaoTronics headphones (TT-BH040) and uses them both wired and wireless for voice calls, if that's any help.

I know, I couldn't believe a teenager uses a phone for calls either.

Haha I don't call people either yeah was thinking more for the switch because it is an awkward system in general for voice chat. I know my Samsung headphones work (most of the time) so think as long as I connect this wired to the console it should be fine

Many thanks, very informative!
These are ace for the price. I bought 7 pairs when they were on Amazon for £9.99...
They stopped selling them after me funnily enough!
