It's not subscription based, is it?

No, it'll save to a memory card.

Tapo subscription is for cloud storage.

Does it work with Apple Homekit?

How do these compare to Eufy?

Thinking of replacing my Eufy ones as they arent the best. App is dreadful.

Same here. My eufy 2k cameras have jumps in the video capture which I believe extends to the sensing triggering bit because sometimes we've seen our pets in the house and the camera did not record them rushing through the cat flap

Good quality night pictures using the starlight sensor this negates using infra-red so excellent through glass (unless it's raining of course). Videos are available to download/watch without subscription. Camera can also be set to track anything in motion. Alerts can be set individually pets/humans/vehicles etc.

Have a 510 model and it's hopeless when it rains, it recorded 64 times last night, only thing it spotted was a mouse, only setting to stop this is to set off
