Seems a good price for a leather iPad case.

The Targus Truss Case for iPad is constructed of durable top-grain leather that provides a tough exterior to protect your device. The case easily transforms into a stand for hands-free viewing which is ideal for convenient moviewatching. To use and view the iPad in the case, Truss opens like a book, so you never have to remove your device. The soft interior lining protects against scratches while the secure wrap-around band holds the case closed when not in use. With a professional exterior and colorful interior, the Truss case uniquely combines both style and function into a durable iPad case.

Does this fit the ipad 2 aswell as ipad then?

Heat for a good case, I bought one off this deal when it was posted a fortnight ago and its a brilliant case!
Comes in a box so ideal for a gift although there is no stylus on the item, but the box states there should be.

I guess it will fit, but I'm unsure whether the camera and speakers will be cut out in the correct place or if at all

Edit: seems this is an iPad 1 case going by the Targus website.

Thanks- got one to replace my battered old case.

I bought one of these a couple of weeks back. Very big, very rigid and great colour. Smells a bit strange too, but not unpleasant. It's a fantastic real leather case for the price.

Will it fit the HP Touchpad

Nice - just ordered one for my TouchPad I have the iLuv case atm but it doesnt work that great as a stand and this one looks better.

It should as they are the same size as the iPad1. If the case blocks some of the input/outputs just cut a bit out using a stanley. Cant go wrong for a fiver really

yeh, the iLuv case doesn't make a great stand... I have similar problems, when I want to rest on the table to type and have the screen tilted towards be, the angle is not big enough

Thanks, ordered one

Ordered, hoping it fits ipad 2. Not bothered if it fits exactly, as long as i can get to the headphone port and it fits nicely!

I want to buy one for my Touchpad but reveiws on Amazon says it's very heavy.

I've just replaced this with a StilGut UltraSlim folio case. That should … I've just replaced this with a StilGut UltraSlim folio case. That should tell you something right away! This IS a quality item. Real leather and a cheerful interior give this a deluxe feel. It offers real protection for the iPad, with hard panels and extensive padding. The problem is that this case is very heavy. It adds massively to the iPad's form, and turns it into something comparable to a first generation notepad! On top of this, it's awkward to put into and get out of bags and luggage. I've taken it on a few business trips and it was a real pain. I didn't worry about the iPad getting damaged though! So, the quality is there, but it's far too heavy and clumsy.

Hot because it is a deal

but the RRP is overinflated

its only £3 more on Amazon

IMO (and that of the reviewer) that works 2 ways. In one way you know your tablet is safe when its inside a bulky sturdy case, but then you obviously lose out on it being light and slim.

Best of both worlds would be get one of these and then a silicone sleeve for a couple of quid off the bay. Then you can carry it in safety when travelling or just keep the sleeve on it when around the home etc for giving it a bit of extra protection

Thanks Op ordered for the ipad 2

Just ordered for my iPAD2... looks great thanks

I shall relent and buy one for my hp touchpad. I am against cases in general, but would like to use this as a stand and the price seems right!..

Good review on YouTube here

ordered!

Thanks OP

(Already bough the belkin one few months ago - which is also great!)

Buying one for the touchpad, hope it fits well enough.

The question is... will it charge on the Touchstone while in this case?

My guess is, no.

Hmm hadn't thought of that. And I only really charge using the touchstone. Oh well lets see.

a nice case for £5, gotta be worth a punt - hope its a good replacement for my £1 neoprene case from Poundland

Anybody have one of these and find it obscures the slide switch on the side of the iPAD?

Voted Hot can't go wrong with a fiver

thanks

Ordered too thanks

Marvellous case. Really protective, if a little bulky. However, the way I carry my iPad with me most of the time, and sling it in with other stuff in a bag, it needs it!

Had a lot of compliments about the case from others, who could;t believe how much I paid for it! (7.50 a few weeks ago). Tempted to pick another up for a spare.

Ordered for touchpad. Looks great to be fair.

Watched the review on Youtube, it looks like the two speakers on the Touchpad will be covered. I would be using the stand to watch video so sound is important. Also is bulky compared to the Luv case that I got.

Not too sure whether to get this now.

Ordered Thankyou.

Cheers just ordered, now just need to order Ipad2 to go with it.......

Ordered cheers good deal, awaiting my iPad 2 from works deal.

Here's the reviews from Amazon:

Worth a try for £5 I say.

I got one of these for my touchpad a while ago on ebay for under a tenner. It's very nicely made, real leather, but it is a bit bulky. Fair bit of padding etc.

As for fit, it's okay, but not ideal. You have to have to lose either the speakers or the volume control, as the case has one long pocket that grips & covers up one entire edge of the tablet. It's held in fairly securely, but the leather corner "clips" on the other side dont entirely sit right, hard to explain. On the whole, for the touchpad, fit 7/10 - it obviously wasn't made for the TP, but quality of the case in general 10/10. I think it's just being price cut cos of the interesting teal coloured padding

Its been at this price on play for almost a month now...

Done....now to buy the ipad :-)

Was £39.99???? LMAO, yeah right!

Not bad for a fiver I guess.
But think I'll stick with my 'Yoobao'...... best cases on the market

hwaaat... bought case before ipad !!
