Hi, good price, but it's this price in a few places now.it work quite well, but you can spend a lot of money on the refills
A little bit more at £49.99 here but comes with 6 packs of coffee to sweeten the deal. These are normally considered a 3 for £10 item at the supermarket, so 6 packs for an additional tenner is quite alright imo.

I've no idea which work out cheaper in the long run between these or Nespresso.

Absolutely agree. The Nespresso will work out cheaper as you can get 3rd party pods.
I've recently got this one from Currys, much cheaper, with £20 vouchers, thinking was a good deal, but TBH you better get pods from supermarkets.
You can only use 1x£10 at the time. You have to buy pods worth £25 min. For free delivery is over £30, otherwise £5 delivery. Vouchers do not work on bundles. With some exceptions, pods are £4.99. You need to buy 7 to qualify for free delivery, so you spend about £33-35 minus the voucher, total £23-25 for 7 boxes. You can get 3 for £10 from supermarkets.
I had Dolce Gusto. Replaced it with this one as more variety. Big mistake, I can find DG 3rd party, sometimes originals at £1-2 per box. I see Nespresso compatible cheaper too. Nothing against the machine, but pods are too expensive.

I've just got back from Morrisons and did a quick scout while i was there, 16 dolce gusto were £4, 2x (8 pack, 16 total), Tassimo were £7 and 2x (10 pack, 20 total) Nespresso were £5. So thats 25p per Coffee for the Nespresso and Dolce vs 43.75p for a Tassimo, quite a bit dearer for a Tassimo. I have never tried coffee from any of them so i'm not sure if one is better than the other, did you find much difference between the Dolce Gusto and Tassimo? Also are any of them compatible with each other, like using a Nespresso pod in a Dolce machine and vice versa? Thx for any help.

I've tried both, DG and Tassimo, never tried Nespresso. In terms of taste, I do not feel much difference in between them.mTassimo smells better IMO. My wife is not keen on DG but not because of the pods, more because the coffee comes warm and she needs to heat it up more in the microwave. I do not like very hot drinks, so for me is perfect. Also, with the DG you can have cold coffee during the summer, while with the Tassimo you can't. DG machine makes the coffee quicker and is not as noisier, also you set how much water you want in your coffee. Picture on box shows you how much water is needed, however you can tailor it. Tassimo reads the pods so you cannot control how much water you have, unless you switch the machine off when you feel it has sufficient water or you press more when finished to add extra water.

In terms of the pods price, Tassimo is about £4-5 per pod, DG is slightly cheaper. You can find offers on both, 3 pods for £10. However, the last DG box i've got (3rd party) was £2 for 16 drinks. I've purchased previously for £1-1.50 per box, some genuine but close to end date, some 3rd party, Lidl does decent and cheaper 3rd party too. Tassimo has more variety, but I've never found the ones I want in the 3 for £10 deal. Up to now no 3rd party Tassimo.

This deal is certainly not great, if you want Tassimo, check for the other deal, £10 more and get 6 boxes with the machine. There is another deal on HUKD, again £10 extra for DG but you get 8 boxes of pods.

Overall, I think both are OKish, but not great. I wanted room in my kitchen, so put the DG away and left the new Tassimo on the counter. Had to put back the DG as every time I go for Tassimo pods, I come back with DG, cost related. We use the Tassimo for out of ordinary pods, due to cost, not as often as the DG.

I feel the Nespresso is a better choice, but please do not ask me why. I feel it is better made and there is a choice of pods at reasonable price.
