Cracking machine. Great tasting coffee. Every Costa pod I've ever tried is brilliant, infact I go out of my way to buy Costa pods. Strong expresso as well. Heat.

Terrible machine with awful tasting coffee. All Costa pods I've tried taste horrible. 3 bar pump only so weak espresso at best.

These machines are shockingly poor aince they first came out. Built like 70s quality first two versions but these machines aince 2012 have been awfully poor build and quality is shocking

Haha muppet
Is this as good as a dolce gusto machine?
I like most of the Costa varieties, the Vanilla one is the best though (for some reason not sold on their online store but available in most supermarkets).

You get 2x £10 vouchers to use on two separate orders on their online store with every machine too.
Better deal than the normal website, 5 packs rather than 3. My parents have this machine, seems fine to me, although water tank is small if that matters to you.
I'm really looking forward to the day my Tassimo breaks. I can't believe they are allowed considering all of the plastic waste they produce. I feel dirty using the damn thing, but it just keeps going (almost 6 years now) and is used multiple times a day.

I really want to make the move to a B2C machine when it finally croaks it.

Errrr, use a hammer?
Can get 5 packs of coffee on Amazon pretty cheap usually.

Most modern electronic stuff eventually breaks of it's own accord. Usually when you don't want it too or when it's inconvenient though...

You can drop your discs off for recycling if you happen to have somewhere nearby that participates:
terracycle.com/en-…lor

Tassimo themselves do need to start offering some kind of disc return service though, or find some sort of alternative material for their discs.

That's a cracking good idea, shame that most feasible location near me is only open 9-5 M-F and closed at WEs. Suppose I can start saving them up and drop them off when I'm on AL.

I agree though, once use and to the bin for these is a joke. Clearly they should be looking at alternatives to plastic, but then again how do they address the need for them to withstand the pressure during use?
Bought this machine for my mum, very small tank and she has difficulty getting it out/in for refilling, I much prefer the ones with tanks at the back holds lots more water, but good deal for a one person household
