Tassimo. Suchard Hot Chocolate £2.99 for 16 drinks at Sainsbury's

Found 8th Jul 2013
Not sure if this is local or national, I can't find it online but the usual price for Suchard Hot Chocolate discs for the Tassimo is 3.99 for 16 drinks. On sale today at local Sainsbury's for 2.99 while stocks last. might be worth checking out if you're planning to go shopping at any branch.

If anyone can find an image to upload that would be great, thanks

Good price.

Good find, Suchard Hot Chocolate is not as nice as the Milka Hot Chocolate though, but then that is the same normal retail price for 8 drinks. Also, not sure that can be bought through shops.

I have both in my house and have voted hot.

good price shames its horrid

Good find, thankyou

Better get it fast, as Sainsbury's have discontinued it in favour of Cadbury. So when it's gone, it's gone. Silly Sainsbury's!

£3.79 direct from Tassimo.

Heat added

Is it really? I ordered some of the Cadbury ones when I ordered my Tassimo last week (loving it!) Hopefully they're decent

both the Suchard and Milka is foul through a tassimo

as is the cadburys, unless you get the blend right.....2 chocolates to 1 milk on cadburys discs makes a perfect mug of chocolate

ends up a bit pricey, but well worth it

I use my Tassimo to make hot chocolate using powered cadbury choc, same taste, much cheaper.

yeah agreed this is the worst, milka is ok. the best one i found on tassimo was the cote dor belgian chocolate

How do you do that with the barcode system?

throw a bunch of powder into your cup and just put a cadburys milk through it?

that's my guess

and it will also allow me to use my 30+ milks i have....cheers mate

Can you buy milk separately??

Everyone trying to find a use for there cheap Tassimo's I wonder????

I don't drink coffee so a Tassimo etc for a hot choc is a bit overkill, although if this tastes good £2.99 for 16 drinks is excellent value compared to the Spanish Choc drink thing I usually have.

This is yuck sooo sickly sweet and tiny!

Yes you can buy just milk pods either from their website, amazon or tesco

Cadbury is by far the best imo... then Milka... then this. This doesn't require milk with it like the others so it's like comparing an instant with milk to an instant with water.

So according to a few...
ALL the hot chocolates are crap with a tassimo lol

Just add a bit of your own milk, its nice enough.

Probably just using the tassimo as instant hot water using an old milk disk or service disk

I bought these a few days ago, haven't tried them yet but i have tried the cadbury and milka ones which were both nice in my opinion but then i did add whipped cream and marshmallows lol

with the cadburys hot chocolates, run the disc under hot water first to melt the chocolate and you get a perfect drink

How do you do this? I just got my Tassimo and didn't think it would work with anything unless it's in a pod/ T-disc?

Agree with most of the comments. Cadbury is okay, milka is delicious, this suchard one however tastes awful.

Love this hot chocolate!

After all the comments I was surprised that my kids much preferred this to the Milka and Cadbury!

Personally, unlike the coffee, I thought hot choc is not worth the extra cost and will continue to get it out of a tin...
