Best price we've found for this uk company heritage brand, whilst it's a pretty unknown flavour they've really done well producing what's recogniseable as golden syrup but with a distinct maple overtone, (not too heavy either)
Real maple is out as it's an austere New year & frankly this stuff tastes darn decent anyway! ..we use it on desserts, baking, & popcorn, ..very cheap, good defined maple taste, w used to get our maple at asda till we realised it was actually blended with fruit & had a low actual maple percentage.

Since trying this we've not bothered splashing out on the real deal (ok aldi do a good price from time to time) ..very content, get some for your baking cupboard, porridge, or for the forthcoming! "jif lemon pancake day"

My son uses this on his French toast. It has saved us a fortune on real maple syrup
this is the normal price for this at Tesco as I've been buying it for months so don't think it's a hot deal at all.

It's not real maple syrup, it's just maple flavoured golden syrup .

@beccajay well not all of us can bear to shop at tesco's ..only bother on a few occasions like picking up lambs hearts, ..I'm not their bitch! (& whilst not generalising about the shoppers there in my local Tesco's theres one hell of a lot of prole shoppers & crackheads stuffing frozen meat down there trousers, which is another reason not to shop there it's just a very forboding rude jostling environment (tend to get better deals on proper foodstuffs at waitrose anyway)

& besides it does state it's maple flavour in the blurb..... but you clearly didn'tread the post properly, so i've adjusted the title.
thankyou for your insight into Tesco shoppers. However, unlike you, not all of us have any option but to shop there with no Waitrose within 50 miles, an Asda some 20 miles away and a small Sainsburys some 10 miles away.
Maple syrup , currants & lemon juice on pancakes - the best !!

I don't, all the supermarkets are some miles away, however my "local" tesco's ranks as one of the rankest based on localalised problems of london overspill re-settlement, unemployment drug users etc, so it's a convenient target for that sort of shopper to get some 5 finger discount to sell for drugs.
Love how this appears in the listings between 2 sex toys. Maybe it can be used in intimate situations.
