TaylorMade SLDR S Driver Sliding Weight Technology

The TaylorMade SLDR S Driver features the incredible SLDR weighting system that is highly effective and easy to use. With 21 different positions, the SLDR weight shifts the centre of gravity and can be moved horizontally towards either the heel, to promote a draw, or the toe, to promote a fade. For ease of use, the sole is marked with “draw” and “fade” to help you get the shot shape you desire. The SLDR weighting system allows you to promote a side-to-side trajectory change of up to 30 yards.
TaylorMade SLDR S Driver Features:
Easy and intuitive SLDR sliding weight promotes up to 30 yards of shot-shape adjustment
Black button-back works with silver-satin crown for easy clubface alignment
Low-forward CG promotes fast ball speed, high launch and low spin for phenomenal distance
1 year guarantee and Fujikura Speeder 57 graphite shaft.

Maybe £250 a couple of years back!
not too bad of a deal as they go for that used or nearly new on the bay.
Never experienced a company with such horrendous customer service. Would never use them again.
Abysmal retailer.
Excellent driver at a used price, heat from me. I use the standard black version.
Flex options are M or X. Is that Moderate or Stiff respectively?

Yeah I think you're right.

I'm guessing m is senior and x is extra stiff.
Great club and a great price but I'll stick with my R11s for now.
Which one of these shafts would people recommend for a high handicapper with a medium swing speed? Think the 'M' stands for senior and 'X' is extra stiff.

I'd recommend the Regular 16 degrees, i would buy it but I'm happy with my Jetspeed. Heat added
Very tempting
Read the title and had no idea what it was until I got to "@golfdepot"! X)
If you are going to ruin a walk may as well do it on the cheap.
Tempted

Want to order one too, but struggling to decide the loft/shaft to get. Which one did you go for and what handicap/swing speed do you have (if you dont mind!)?

Definitely go for R Regular unless you are Senior 70+ , higher loft the better
Two year old driver now. These were selling in a few different places last year for 100. So another year on your saving a extra 15 quid..

With the shafts only being senior and extra stiff it won't suit to many people. The likely hood is they got some old stock that couldn't be sold off in last year sales.

But fact is TM have new drivers out every year so if your on the golf store sites around the end of golfing season you can be sure to pick up TM stuff on discount.

So basically if you have the swing speed of a tour player or are well into your 60s then these to shaft options are no good to you. I play off 7 HC and use a tour stiff ping driver and even it's a little stiff for my swing speed. Save your money.
Only useful if you can **** the ball like Happy Gilmore or an old codger.
All I'll say is..Check out the reviews on this Company.

Avoid.
Heard bad things about the company online however I live quite near to their shop and if you can get down there it's excellent. They're based in Chester so if you're visiting the area it's worth popping in.

Depends a little on natural shot shape - M if you fade and x if you Draw - most likely the M

The shaft is the Fujikura Speeder 57 grams and comes in M, R, S, or X flex.

M if you fade it?? So if you fade the ball you suggest people buy a senior flex club to help it? In all my years golfing I never heard that one.

Personally just spend a extra few quid and pick up one with correct flex for your swing. Even if your a high handicapper or just starting out you can pick up a fairly good driver for in around 100 quid in any good golf store. Hell I am sure if your going to buy on the day they let you hit a few into the net so you can see if you like it.

Failing that and you just want to take a punt at something pick your self up a regular flex 10.5 and go from there.

agree completely that regular is better option and a visit to a local store to hit a few is the best way to go. In terms of the original question. shift flex greatly effects shot shape. The softer flex allows the face to closer easier on impact and the opposite on a stronger flex. Also the higher loft the better if accuracy is a problem. The high loft doesn't have a massive on distance but will increase the spin rate and increase control
Really good find. Thanks man!

Not a problem.
Ordered and paid. Then after 3 days I get an email saying will be refunded as out of stock. Site still accepting orders. Poor customer service and won't use again. Should have acknowledged other online reviews!
Can HUKD ban retailers deals? As these lot are a joke. They have no phone number and after emailing them got a stupid generic response about some poor sale.
