TCP spray Plaster only £1 @Poundland
I went in to my local Poundland shop and found some TCP Spray Plaster for 1 pound, usually they are about 4 or 5 pounds in other shops.
Couldn't find it on their web site so I'm not sure if this is store specific.

Remember seeing this on Tomorrows World about 30 years ago!!!

Are they any good? Does it do 'what it says on the tin'?

I used a similar product from Savlon. It really really hurt. It has Alcohol in to cleanse the wound and then seal it. Don't get me wrong ... it worked. But ..... I was in agony for hours

Still ace stuff though. Heat Added.

They also sell superglue very cheap, which should absolutely not be used to fix papercuts and the like in a matter of seconds. I'm not condoning that. Nope. Don't even think about it.

Stuff is awesome and even funner to pick off

Massive savings. Deserves more heat!

Good for spraying on spots :o) Stops you from infecting them and making them worse when you touch them .. thats my top tip for spray plaster stuff :o)

It's bang tidy. My mate Nikki got a 4 inch cut her leg and bam - this stuff just sealed it off. If you're vegan or Halal then don't buy this because it's made from pig's blood. If you're northern you might also get angry because that could have been good black puddin, that could.

Made with pigs blood, how did you find that?:| Can get it from the butchers for nothing and save the pound?

I like what you've done with the photo, OP.

You've put the Poundland receipt next to the product just to prove that Poundland are only charging, erm, a pound for it..................

Closer to the truth than you'd think:
"The inventor of cyanoacrylates (Super Glue), Harry Coover, said in 1966 that a CA spray was used in the Vietnam War to retard bleeding in wounded soldiers until they could be brought to a hospital"

Cut yourself and find out?

i have used this and it didn`t sting at all , great product

The sticky stuff cant be very good for your skin...

Heat left

Is this stuff any good for blisters - is it tough enough to resist abrasion from shoes?

This is a really good deal. I bought some Germolene dab on equivalent from Boots earlier for £4.39 because I didn't want to pay £6.50 for an aerosol.

By the way it says for external use only but I've used it on a small cut on the end of my finger and it has stopped the sharp stinging pain from the open cut.

i'm still waiting for a spray-on nurse

bad head day

External as opposed to internal - i.e. don't use it to seal punctured lungs, or the like..

does this doubles as a lubricant too?

i prefer UDP myself

omg i think i just wet myself laughing

Germolene does a liquid version of this called New Skin. Doesn't really sting the times I have used it. I suppose it depends how deep and wide the cut or scrape is. Here are the ingredients. Not sure pig's blood comes into it, but since it contains alcohol, teetotallers should steer clear:

Ethyl Acetate,
Alcohol Denat,
Nitrocellulose,
Ricinus Communis,
Isopropyl Alcohol,
Amyl Acetate,
Isobutyl Alcohol,
Camphor,
Parfum.
