Set in the fictional Summerdown Comprehensive in Bristol, Teachers is the hugely successful comedy drama following the chaotic lives of a group of perpetually juvenile teachers, whose specialist subjects include beer-drinking, kebab-eating and ineptness with members of the opposite sex. Set as much out of the classroom as in it, this is a contemporary light-hearted series where the staff find their lives just as problematic after school.

They are the teachers no parent would want teaching their kids, specialising in immaturity rather than the traditional subjects. They have their own cliques, gossips and bullies and their own idea of a practical joke. Follow them making friends, breaking friends, trying to figure out the opposite sex, fighting in the playground... and dealing with lippy pupils.

This box set includes all the episodes from series 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Great TV program. Definitely loses quality as it goes through the series but well worth a watch

Superb series, a classic for sure

The 3rd season with Brian and Kurt taking the lead is severely under-rated IMO.

The 4th season (or 'The Bob Season') is absolutely terrible though.

Love this show, nothing but hassle from Play though, esp over Xmas. Messed up my cousins present. No heat here

Love Teachers but no matter how many times I try to watch it through, I can never finish the fourth series.

Completely agree with both your comments.

For me, the 3rd series was the best. Although I liked series one and two, Kurt and Brian were the real stars and they got their chance in series 3.

Series 4 was just awful.

Watched it again recently, and was odd how young James Corden looked in his occassional appearances: talentedbritishactors.co.uk/pic…jpg

And then along comes Gavin & Stacey co-star Matthew Horne in the final season.

Loved that when it was on

Before he was a cocky git!

Series 1 and 2 were my favourite, always worked best with Simon there to keep it semi serious - even in series 3 the best episodes were the ones he was in.
Series 4 jumped the shark a bit, and while it was decent enough for a first watch through, I've not felt the need to rewatch it since. Felt a bit forced the way they had to do a Social Topic of the Week Awareness Week each episode just to get the story moving.

I remember a donkey walking through the school corridor on this show and thought, "What the hell was that about?!"

Still, pretty decent show.

i got this brand new for 7.99 on playtrade , might be worth having look

Missed out. Great series and amazing sound track....... so takes me back.
