A buddy adventure like no other!

Embark on your own unique adventure through a papercraft world that you can hold in the palm of your hand.

Tearaway™ is the next creative masterpiece from Media Molecule, the critically acclaimed developer behind the award winning LittleBigPlanet™ franchise. Inspired by and created specifically for PS Vita, the tactile world of Tearaway is a beautifully crafted 3D open environment built completely out of paper that behaves with the real world physics of actual paper.

Tearaway is a “buddy-movie” style adventure, between the you and a papercraft messenger from another dimension IOTA (or alternatively ATOI). The Messenger is controlled with the PS Vita’s sticks and face-buttons, but whenever they need some more dramatic help, you player can reach into the PS Vita and effect the papery-world, sometimes in tactile creative ways and sometimes in dramatically destructive methods.

Your surroundings can appear in-game through the use of the PS Vita’s camera The PS Vita’s microphone will allow you to breathe storms and wield the voice of god into the paper land.

Players will also see their own fingertips push up into the environment to come to their messenger’s aid via rear touch, or unfold areas of scenery with the front touch.

Tearaway playfully blends the real world with the game world, allowing you to see elements of their your lives appearing inside the game, whilst being rewarded with real papercraft elements to print out and make as you progress.

Great game... Great deal

Playing it at the moment. One of the most charming games I've played, and one of the few to use ALL of the Vita's unique features.

Hoping this will be a PSN+ sometime this year...

This game is really great one of the Vita's best games and also one that is original to the system and not a port so heat.

I wonder if they port this to the ps4 too, and I U have to use the vita as the controller...

Thanks OP, used my clubcard vouchers (I had £15 worth) so didn't pay a penny, very nice!

Hence:

Nope, it uses all of the Vita's features, a PS4 port wouldn't work.

Just buy it and support the devs, it's cheap and easily one of the Vita's best games.

This mentality of "I'll wait for it to go on Plus" is one of the major reasons why nobody wants to develop games for it.

This game hasn't been out very long and is still selling well, I highly doubt it'll be on ps plus

Great, great game. Well worth every penny

I tried the demo.

Basically get the same affect by poking your finger through toilet paper.

If that excites you, then this is the game for you.

But they said "use the Vita as the controller", which I think would work. That'd be a good idea I reckon, just a simple mirror on a TV perhaps.

You can make any game sound terrible by simplifying.

I think it's rather that the uptake of the console itself has been poor, which is a real shame. It's a marvellous device with a lot of quality titles to offer (despite what people have been told).

Took you long enough to get round to playing the greatest game ever conceived

Shameful eh? Getting a Wii U (and the minor obstacle of final exams) rather delayed things. It was only that I happened to need something to play on a flight that I finally gave it a go!

Such a brilliant game. I hope there will be more of its kind in the Vita's lifetime.

Totally agree, the platform is suffering because people keep waiting for games to appear on PS Plus. If I was Sony I would wait years to put something like this on (Knack &/Puppeteer too)

I agree too. There has been a lot of times where I've either waited for a game to go on Plus or waited for a cheaper second hand copy. As I hardly buy Vita games though I thought it's better to just buy a new copy (which isn't that expensive anyway) and support the console and contribute to it having a better future.

i too agree. just buy it you cheapskates and enjoy it. well worth it imo.
a true 'gamers'game.

Brilliant game, well worth the pre order I put in and even at £20 retail. At this price, as the other say, support a great game and studio.
