I dont think you can go wrong at this price
Had various sizes of Technikas over the years, no worse than any others, Tesco never quibble with replacing, great bedroom/kitchen/workshop TV for the money, so hot from me.

Deos anyone else think the catagories are a bit too vague?
i bought one of these in a deal the other day and it arrived today. great bit of kit and like someone mentioned... perfect for kitchen use.
interested for my daughter for christmas - whats the difference between LED and LCD though?

Do you have the dimensions?

I'm interested for the kitchen but depends how slim it is.
LED back lights last ages what the old type use CFL bulbs which don't in comparison.
Head added
I bought a Technika television and it broke 1 year and 1 day after purchase, fab timing!

Also LED uses less electricity.

Are we sure this is LED as all the others are LCD i think this maybe a mistake a bit like when i ordered one with DVD as described on there site and when i went to collect it no sign of a DVD on it and as if by magic the description on there site had changed and made me look a liar.

Ok after some searching it is LED but the good news is it has USB which i would assume is either for recording Freeview or video playback if its for these reasons its a great buy for a kids bedroom or kitchen.

It's not magic, that's why people take a screen dump when they order things online, then they have evidence if anything changes.
Has some bad reviews
Seeing as this has a USB and works with a PC, could I autorun slideshows/videos from the USB to play on the screen?! If so it would make a nice Digital Photo/Video player.

Any ideas?:|
good price
Hmmm,,not one person in the reviews mentions it's LED, although they do mention the poor viewing angles.

Don't forget quidco ,too.
£67.49 instore as well and it does say LED on the box.
They were unpacking a load in my local yesterday.
Can anyone confirm if this TV supports record to USB, and also what file formats it supports for playback? I have searched for a manual on tescotechsupport.com but to no avail...

Why moan about it
Cheers op. Just needed one for the kitchen.
Ordered one got it for £50.75 using promo
code and partners employer discount!
ordered. going to test out the product!
Ordered. Thanks for the code. Will pick it at local Tesco and have a try.
I ordered one and recevied yesterday
I was expecting the worst and am extremely happy. Picture quality is great (thanks to LED)
I appreciate it could break tomorrow but for £55 it's a chance worth taking.
Sits perfect in the kitchen.
I tried the USB feature out and its not bad - played back most videos.

If i needed another, I'd buy another. Well actually if I had space for another, I'd buy another!

Thanks I had thought that about the sound - will try tonight!

can you get 10 off instore?
just set mine up today........

as its meant for the kitchen i got a £20 digital aerial from argos as i dont have a aerial point in that room./

picks nothing up with the aerial nor does it with any other aerials.

the only thing that works is the main aerial point in the living room and when its connected to that its a lovely picture.

Down stairs the only other way i can get it work is if i put the tv up on a box then hang the aerial out the conservatory window.

Have i got a duff one or are the tuners very weak on these sets?

what aerials are you lot using?

cheers
anyone?

I got one for the kitchen too, no wall aerial either. I bought a "One for All" (45db) aerial from tesco £18. This is an amplified aerial (plugs into the mains). However it still has to stand on the window ledge and is very sensitive. Can't get all the stations but got about 90% of channels in its current position.

Hope this helps
