Great, been looking for a screen this size on the cheap
Hi where did you get the discount code from? Or is it for new customers only as it says error not valid. Thanks in advance

Have the tried the other one of TDX-RPMW?
Yeah, same error message with that code also. Do you know if it's for new customers only? Thanks
i would be wary of technika, i have one in kitchen and freeview breaks up sometimes, even though other tv's (panasonic, toshiba, hitachi) are fine and use the same aerial, reckon tuner is not good enough!

funny that kids technika as same problem , also i bought 2 of these one lasted 12 months and a day and dvd would no longer reads disks, took the tv back to tesco and at first just said its out of warranty , what i said best get the manager as its not fit for purpose , anyway got a refund and replaced the tv with one off ebuyer with 3 year warranty for same money, but even tho ive said all that above this is a very cheap tv at least £25 to £30 cheaper than any others ive seen so it is a hot deal.
Had a similar model Technika to this and the DVD drive stopped working after about a year. The TV is okay, it's just a bit hit and miss with quality I suppose.
Code is working fine for me.
Bought one of these last year for a bedroom and it is fine for this sort of thing.
Hey looks good tv might purchase it, when does code run out?
Code will work for existing customers, just use a different eamil or make one up, works for me every time.
thanks , used another email and code worked

Got it for a xmas pressie, its early i know but at that price worth it
Went through Quidco they have a code for £10 off TDX-RFXW which worked fine plus the 3% quidco to come. Got the 21.5" version for £93.60 less £10 discount and a few clubcard vouchers to take it to £76.10 with a couple of pound to come for the 3%

Many thanks OP
Will probably get cancelled like most Tesco Direct orders have just lately.

TDX-RPMW worked for me
Pardon my ignorance but would this double up as a monitor for my PC?
Terrible tv! Poor quality. Broke with 2 months. Refunded
I bought a Technika with built in DVD for the bedroom at christmas time.

It has just been sent back today as the DVD player is progressively getting worse at reading discs, freezing and skipping. I wont be getting another Technika.
Just bought one and lets see if Tesco Cancel. The code did not work for me first time. Just put an alternative email address in and a new code appeared automatically with the £10 off. Thanks for the find

Yes but a poor one.

PC Input Dsub (VGA)
wouldnt touch this make ... its utter rubbish.. cheap is what you pay and cheap is what you get.. the dvd player packs up after about 14 months and tesco dont want to know ..and the freeview is waste of space ..
I have a similar 22" TV, Picture quality is poor compared to major brands.
It was cheap, but I should have paid more for a better one.
420 reviews 4.6/5 says it cant be that bad

419 made up by Tesco.
I bought one, but lost receipt so could not return. TV is poor quality. The EPG is next to useless, if you have used Freeview you will know how important a good EPG is. Check the Tesco site for after sales support , you will find none, there is no support, no firmware updates.

I gave mine away to a friend.

It would be a good deal if they paid you £70 to take it from their store.:(
TDX-HTKW worked had to sign up for new account
got one in my daughters room albeit an older model tecknika

still going strong 3 years on

wouldnt dream of one for the main room though
There is a suspicion over the quality of combi TV's. From the above comments it's somewhat justified!
I've got an older tecknika tv and the DVD player packed up on it jut as it was out of warranty. The iPod dock still works. Never bothered with the free view as its linked to sky box in bedroom. I'd say report a DVD player fault at 11 month even if it's working they washed there hands of it once it was out of warranty like other people have said. If you know what your getting into £70 isn't too bad for a bedroom tv
The 1 year guarantee does not mean they cannot help you after one hear has passed. It still has to last a reasonable time. Also an EU law helps...

It's never been a secret since the first VHS recorders were built into TV's in late 1980's/1990's - there were all pretty much crap for reliability and servicing then as they are now.

Arguably they should be much more reliable as VHS decks were far more prone to mechical wear and tear but this has been cancelled out by most combis being the cheapest and nastiest brands known to mankind.

Good value for £70 as long as you only realistically expect a year of viewing from it....anything more is a bonus.

And yes I know there is at least one Technika owner who has had a trouble free TV since 1973 even though they didn't exist back then.
Picked up mine today, there is a voucher in box for extra 6month warranty so 18 months in total

Here is the link if you didn't get the leaflet warranty.skymediauk.co.uk/
