Great price for a portable TV whether for the kids room, kitchen etc. Thanks

Great price! now do I need one lol

Says voucher is only available to first time shoppers ?

Is this instore also do you know?

Also does anyone have any experiences and views on this set?

Problem with voucher

I used the voucher to buy the other UMC set and I was not a new customer but If you have problems with the voucher re-register with a different email account.

Tuners are usually rubbish on these sets unless you have it plumbed in to an outdoor aerial. Couldn't get any channels with a non make brand like this, bought a Toshiba and can get nearly 100 channels.

Full HD 1080p

Is HD really an issue on a 22" screen?

Tesco should really clear up their descriptions. States that it's 1080p but later on it says that it isn't Full HD (4 rows below the resolution).

I'm sure it is 1080p but their descriptions are rather confusing.

Also remember that it does not have HD Freeview as some of the reviewers seems to have not noticed.

As stated above, being 720p or 1080p is completely irrelevant on a TV this size. Hot price.

Well, ive gone and ordered this too. ordered the UMC one earlier, lets see if any turn up. I can always return one I guess if I change my mind.

would this be ok with a mac mini?

Can this be used as a pc monitor aswell

Tesco description is baffling but heat added anyhow

It is massively relevant if people are wanting to occasionally use this as a PC monitor at 1920x1080.

Think people are getting confused about signal INPUT capability and DISPLAY panel capability.
ie the electronics in a set can cope with signals coming in at various settings/specifications - eg maybe upto 1080p
and then display on the panel either "i" interlaced and/or "p" progressive on a panel with A by B pixel resolution - eg
720p (1280 × 720 progressive scan)
1080i (1920 × 1080 split into two interlaced fields of 540 lines)
1080p (1920 × 1080 progressive scan)
eg my folks have an ancient Dell HD TV that has a WXGA panel ie 1280x768
yet it accepts signals at 480i/p 576i/p 720p and 1080i

No offence, but you sound like a W*MAN.

does this play mkv files ?

Not 1080p FULL HD, It says HD ready. Still a bargain though

Hey for 65 quid for a tv to go on the kitchen wall who can grumble. To be honest it's only for watching a bit of news and stuff so not interested if it is full hd or anything. I was going to pay double so I am thrilled with this thanks again!!

This seems really cheap, £75 is a bargain but £65 is a steal! Have ordered, need to decide what to use it for next

returned mine as it picked no channels up unless on external aerial.

ordered for £65, can't really go wrong to be fair.

Excellent Deal.....Tesco Outlet currently selling these refurbished for £82.96 on ebay!

It's a decent price, but I'd stay clear. I've had two of these previously and after a year or so one started to switch modes ie between tv to dvd and the remote wasn't even in the same room!
The other TV (still in use as a monitor for my raspberry pi) resets the tuner every time you stick it on standby, so a real pain for watching tv on. Not to mention the colors are terrible.

I bought UMC one yesterday. Money was transferred from my bank account but I received an email from tesco saying that they couldn't complete the transaction and I will get a refund, yet UMC is back in stock again. What should I do?

Not deal related and probably a silly question... but can you collect these at any time from the 24hr stores? I probably won't get a chance to pick mine up until late tomorrow night.
