good value but the tv is terrible, i bought it a few weeks ago and returned it within days

Is that not fraudulent signing up with a new Email address.... No it is OK, it is Tesco's, the Serious Fraud office are looking in to there accounting procedures and when they have cleared Tesco's of any wrong doing am sure they will investigate your dubious use of an Email address......

Oh have some heat...

Yep good luck if you actually want to watch TV with it. W e had a Technika. Was with Tesco's repair for 5 months out of the 7 months we owned it. In the end got a refund and bought a finlux instead. Never looked back!

Bought this and have to return it - big shadow in bottom left hand corner - poor.

I purchased this TV for my daughter a few days ago with the £15 code which was floating around and I must say I was surprised how good it was. Nice looking tv with the glass stand, easy to set up and quite a good picture for a tv in this price range. As with all these small tv's the sound isn't great but certainly adequate for a bedroom tv. I purchased it because of the price and the reviews on Tesco. At the end of the day it comes with 12 months warranty, if it lasts 12 months I'll be happy.

Purchased one a few weeks back and its idea for the bedroom. Only downside is no Scart input if you need to attach a DVD Player you can get around that by using another cable.

Forgot to mention, it actually comes with 18 months warranty (extra 6 months when you register). The TV is identical, apart from the badge, to the Blaupunkt I have in my bedroom, I guess they are all made by the same people (UMC).

Had a technika from tescos on off button packed in just as the 12 month warranty had run out

I've had my technika for 5 years now. 24 inch model with dvd combo and it has been the best TV I've owned. Really sharp and clear. Maybe I was a lucky one but I use it for gaming all the time and it has actually been extremely good.

Forgot to say mine is a 1080p one

I bought a 22" in 2010 for £100 and something for Uni and it's still going strong. It was used for HD gaming and the occasional movie here and there, the picture quality is excellent for those 2 things. It's not the best for watching regular TV though, compared to the £300 tvs (for the same size) out there, but it's not terrible either.

-Crystal clear when it comes to gaming and movies on usb.
-not so sharp when it comes to normal freeview/TV.

I hardly watch TV these days and I work full time so if I was going to buy a TV, I would honestly save my money for a better quality and MUCH BIGGER. You can get some crazy deals on Tvs from this website.

Humour and Tesco's dubious accounting aside, I'm not sure it would be considered fraudulent anyway. You're not posing as someone else. It's not illegal to have more than one email and since their recognition of a customer seems to be a given email address, there isn't really a problem. They don't specifically state anywhere that you're not allowed to register different accounts with different email addresses, and they don't ask you or warn you in anyway that if you're already a registered customer you can't reregister with a new email. It's Tesco. I'm sure they are well aware that people simply sign up new email addresses anyway, if they were that bothered they could quite easily stop it. Having people with more than one email registered allows them to cook the books and massage the shareholders even easier (We got 10 million newly registered customers this month, instead of, really it's just 5 million using multiple email addresses).

Looking to get a TV for the bedroom (room is tiny, 24" is probably the biggest possible). If not this, can anyone guide me to options at a similar price?

All I'd need it for is to use PS3 (Netflix etc) and Chromecast. Got a much larger plasma downstairs, but can't get the HDMI to work. Doubt I can get any TV reception anyway

I'd been looking at the refurbs on the Argos Ebay, but nothing is jumping out quite yet

ra, Do you know any jokes....
