32 Inch

Full HD 1080p

Built in Freeview HD

with JBL speakers (not sure if that makes it any lucrative)

HDMI (1.4) x 3

USB X 2

Energy efficiency A

Ethernet port X 1 (but no Wifi)

Not Smart, No Scart, No Miracast, Not sure of VESA mounting compatibility.

I am looking for a 32 inch LED TV as my room won't accommodate any bigger, preferably under the 100 mark but wonder if its too much to expect.

What do you guys think is this a good price or should be frozen over

I don't think that's how hotukdeals works.

Thanks for pointing out guys I will expire this

Plenty of good reviews on Tesco for it, don't think you're going to get a lot better for the money unless you consider second hand.

Yeah, I'm confused. Seems like an OK deal to me.

you could get a sharp model for a bit cheaper from tesco but not a bad price
tesco.com/dir…ers

the whole point of this front page is to post and share 'deals'

If the OP think his submission was a good deal, he or she would provide evidence to say why its a deal.
People often say its £20 less than the previous week, or this shop is having a sale or even a simple compare prices elsewhere.

Not really. OP found something they believe to be cheap, the other users (us) vote on if we think that is the case. That way better deals should be easier to spot by the heat, rather than reading every post.

IMPORTANT - Before drilling any holes in the wall ensure you are not drilling where
there could be any electrical wires, water or gas pipes.
TV wall mounting brackets are available to purchase separately from Tesco - please visit www.tesco.com/direct.
1) Remove the four screws highlighted that are supplied in the wall mounting
holes.
2) The wall mount can now be easily attached to the mounting holes on the rear

Except the Sharp one is listed as HD Ready (720p) rather than the full 1080p this one is.

Ok, you got a faulty one, it happens. Not really a reflection on the product or the price unless it's an issue that a lot of people are getting?

Tried to reply to you but ended up posting in error. Doh. 60hz from what I can see on the online manual.

Had a few friends go for them not this model though but all have had lines of red pixels after a while.
It's worth paying a bit extra for Samsung LG or Sony. Nor quite sure of the name but I've heard good things about Hisense which are a budget brand.

Had been looking at this tv myself. Wasn't sure whether to go for this or spend an extra £30 and buy the 40" Seiki SE40FO02UK...

What do you guys reckon

Depends on the size of your room you're putting it in.

They look almost identical - probably same manufacturer, but different badges. Technika has slightly better sound and lower energy consumption and can record programmes to USB - can the Seiko? If you'r buying for a bedroom (or smaller room), then I'd stick with the Technika. Nothing the Seiko offers justify the extra £30 apart from a larger screen.

Got the TV. Pretty pleased with picture etc. However there is an electrical pop from the speakers on some streaming services using my roku streaming stick. E.g. Netflix. When the buffer hits 100% when starting a program there is a worrying electrical pop. It doesn't happen when the TV is muted so must be the speakers. Anyone else who got this TV experienced this? The pop is only when the audio kicks in and does not occur during programs.

Got this one (at this price) for my youngest's bedroom for Xmas. Was the best full HD 32" I could find at the time, and hasn't disappointed so far.

@neilydee ... he's also got a Roku stick in his too, and must admit I've not been aware of that sort of problem. Well he's not told me!

Got this for my son for Xmas. Very impressed with it. You won't find another 1080p for the same price. Used my club card points to get it for 100

Good price for the spec. But keep in mind it's technika... Not likely to last long before things start going wrong with it.

every single time I used this brand turned out this is so cheap

Loads of television brands are made by UMC nowadays including Sharp and Blaupunkt. They are admittedly basic sets but my mother's set is close to 2 years old and working well (e-motion) which she has in her bedroom.

If I wanted a basic set for a minor room I'd consider a UMC model whichever brand it has on it.

this is the 2nd 32 inch Tv I have bought this year
other one top of range Samsung Smart Tv more than twice the price and it's nice. But for picture quality this one is better.

Can anyone tell me the real depth of this tv? I refuse to believe it is 17.5cm deep without the stand. I want to wall mount it but not if its that thick! thanks.

Could you do me a favour and measure the depth of the tell without the stand please, surely its not 17.5cm thick? That's a deal breaker for me

I've got it mounted on the wall so can only give you an approx. measurement...it's about 7cm deep at it's thickest point, which is at the bottom.

Amazing! Thanks so much for this I guess I'll be making a purchase..

Bought one of these last night. Paid £20 more than this offer price, but happy with it so far.

The sound is very loud for such a slim telly and the screen is decent. I've been using it for gaming and DVDs. So far, no complaints.
