I been looking for a cheap 32/37 TV and came across this, it's been on and off a couple of times but always missed out, get in quick for what I think is a cracking price

Note: this deal is for a refurbished TV.

Not the best of TV's but perfect for a Bedroom

Can't go wrong for £170, voted hot and ordered, Thanks OP!

Good find op at this price its a bargain hot from me

It's a cheap brand, not 1080p and a low contrast ratio BUT a TV with Freeview HD in has to be a good deal at this price. Good find.

am i missing something here>? freeview HD but not 1080p - isnt that like having a blueray player with a 14" tv!

could mention this is a refurb and also you can get the same TV for £179 with a code. £10 difference for a brand new TV seems the better offer.

my bad that TV is no longer available on the tesco website. good price still.

32" would be vulgar in a bedroom.

Cracking deal though, I have a Samsung 32 but would happily buy one of these if I didn't have it.

it's not, I have a 32" TV in my bedroom stood on a chest of drawers and it's just right.

OP doesn't mention that it's a refurb and not a brand new TV in their post.

Freeview HD is [email protected], not 720p.

Yes. Normal Freeview on a 720p 32inch TV looks horrible, this will scale it down from 1080p to 720p rather than scaling up from normal TV resolutions so it'll have a clearer image.

I thought all broadcast HD in the UK was 1080i, be it on Freeview HD/Sky HD/Virgin HD.

Ah yes, just looked it up and you're right. Could have sworn it was 720p.. must have changed since I last looked into or, or I got it totally wrong!!

It was actually more to the person stating it was 1080p, but never mind lol.

I didn't mention that it's a refurb because it clearly states it is in the listing, also it carries a 12 month warranty so no worries there and for £170 what do you purists want, just get real will ya, it makes me feel like keeping any more bargains I find to myself

Freeview HD is 1080i @ 25fps, especially as UK broadcasts at 25fps/50Hz

So some might be moving to 1080p

A lot of it isn't at 1080i really anyway 1600x1080 and 1440x1080 have both been used.

Besides 1080i can't even be shown fully on a 720p (1280X720) screen

And so starts another boring rant about high resolution screens. I swear this things were simpler in the 90's where the only people who cared about resolution were those wanting more units on the screen in Total Annihilation.

Nobody would even notice it was HD on a piece of Technika junk like this.

To be fair, putting 'refurb' in the title does save people a lot of time. It's kind of an unwritten rule of HUKD to put it in the title.

I would have gone for this had I not bought the Sharp 32" for £180 a month ago. And to the person saying 32" would look vulgar in a bedroom: we couldn't disagree more!

Very good price for the geature set.

Have to say though I've been burned by poor Technika image quality before, would rather spend an extra £50 and get a decent branded panel

lol what?

I've got this in my bedroom, awesome telly. Bought it new for £199 3 months ago.

The picture on it is surprisingly good, maybe because I wasn't expecting much. Definitely not a living room telly though.

mine is about 2 years old and going great, that good that i bought another one for my daughters bedroom...

and not sure why a 32" would look vulgar as someone put it,i guess it all depends what your used to

No - antenna or cable signals go to 750 max - you will only get 1080p with a blueray play
er.

Freeview HDs pointless, the only thing your getting for money is 5+ HD channels eg BBC1 Chnl 4 etc..

the title should have contained that this is used. not worth a penny

these deals just clutter the list. very annoying

Does anyone know how easy this is to wall mount? Would be great in the kitchen!
