I'm guessing this is cold because it's a Technika, but a new 40" 1080p for that price should be considered a hot deal regardless.
my mum has had a Technika for over 3 years no problems - voted hot
budget price for alot of tv...have some heat!
Good price.
Nice price. Now if only it had Freeview HD!
Full HD 1080p No ?
so its not full HD?

Good point but most of the time with budget buys , & certain websites the specifications are not accurate. Worth a phone call or web research for anyone interested. I just bought The 42" Hannspree spotted on here from ebuyer £299, Sound is crap, but picture is like my mates Sony. I am as happy as a mushroom:)

Read the review trustedreviews.com/Tec…iew

It's not great in any way or by any standard. It's cheap but not a bargain. Not suitable for demanding buyers.

In the absence of a formal review of the 40" model, the review of the 32" model should give a reasonable indication of the 40" model's performance, i.e. mediocre.

The two TVs are identical, apart from Panel size. Both are likely to contain Samsung S-PVA Panels.
this tv will keep you happy 80 pc of the time , it kinda goes off a bit if say watchin older movies on the horror channel where the contrast between grey an black becomes pixelated ,also if you use the noise reduction you be gettin a lot of motion blur .
but as is the way with these thing i brought the buget buy just to watch the bargain buys apear in the shop 2 weeks later
still fairly happy over all
