Priced up at £29.00 instore and £32.00 on Tesco direct website..now with a massive 90% off and just £2.90

Browsing the local Tesco and they had some huge reductions on lots of items, not sure if its a nationwide thing but they had about a dozen of these on the shelf, I left them all there as I have freeview HD built in to my 50" TV

Thought I would let the HUKD'ers here know so someone gets a bargain..

Yellow sticker usually means shelf clearance.

So would be a local deal most likely. What was the Tesco this was found in?

Two things I would note with this:
*These boxes are really rubbish, I got one for £2.50, and didn't even keep it in use for a month.
*The box clearly has the price stickered onto it, so the discount has been given at that particular stores discretion, and no other store in the country will have it at that price - don't waste your time looking.

Why do you think the box is rubbish? I've had no problems with mine at all. Cheap little box that gets me the freeview HD channels on our old 47" inch television.

Granted the Freeview channel choice is really poor but that's still a bargain to have the option in another room for the odd time there's something worth watching on Freeview in HD.

Once again someone jumping the gun on a local store deal getting voted really hot because people think they can get this deal.

Still at £30 it's not a bad deal for a freeview recorder.

NOT a recorder, no hard drive, tuner only ! Info available indicates USB connection, which like other units could possibly be used with separate additional memory.

I have been in 2 stores since yesterday and I have found these boxes available in both stores both with yellow stickers on them, you need to visit a store or two and you may find them instead of expecting to be spoonfed
