Please take it easy on me. If this is not that good a deal I apologise in advance, but I am just trying to give back something to the wonderful HKUD community after all the fantastic deals I have bought through here.

The cost is £12 + £4.99 for delivery which makes a total of £16.99.

This Micro Hifi has a CD player that can play CDs, CD-Rs and CD-RWs. It also has an AM/FM band Radio.

It has an LCD display and a headphone socket too.

Seems a bargain for the kids or kitchen or spare room really at this price.

All the best.

Here is the info from their site.

This Technika MC123W micro hi-fi features a CD player and AM/FM radio tuner. The CD play is compatible with CDs, CD-Rs and CD-RWs. The MC123W has 2 x 2W RMS speakers and a headphone socket. Mains powered.

This item is brand new but the packaging may be marked or slightly damaged

I got this for £12.00 from tesco direct on a price glich what a deal well no this looks very good but it is so cheap and badly made i took it back as i would rather have the £12.00 back

I bought this on the £12 deal too for in the kitchen and it works well am pleased with it.

Got it for £12 off tesco's too, don;t think it was a price glitch though as they honoured it

£16.99 isn't too bad at all (especially as it's delivered).

Player is pretty decent, sound is good enough for a busy room of 12 toddlers and It looks great, can't really ask for more. Haven't looked but I'd go out on a limb and say it's easily the cheapest mini hifi out there.

Great first deal op! deserves some heat!

Yes, this was reduced to just £12 recently on the Tesco site as a clearance item, not a price glitch. It's always worth checking Tesco site and comparing prices as many Ebay/Tesco prices are in fact dearer!

Got one for the kitchen a while back; really impressed with the look and sound of it!

Also bought while they were £12.00 a while back, 1 for the kitchen and 1 for the bedroom. Decent products. Perform well and look the part, what more can you ask for?! Especially for the price! +1 Heat.

I bought one too, sound is ok although it has scrarched the hell out of 5 cd's so now only gets used as a Radio.
I only paid £12, not sure if i would pay more than that.

mine isn't badly made.. its great,i'll buy another if theres any left.

Thanks, i have just ordered one for an 11yr old girl. This will be her first stereo. If i start her on something inexpensive............................well thats the plan.

Headphone socket is always an advantage.

After it had scratched maybe 2 times didn't you think you ought to stop putting cd's in there and not let it scratch 5 oO

did you put all 5 discs in at the same time? X)

I got one of these for my 9yr old son's bedroom last time they were on sale. Brilliant for the price. Heat from me.

Awesome, miles better sound quality than my Onkyo setup

seriously though, cheap as chips, thank you slave labour.

well for those of you who think that the analogue radio signal will go on forever , i'm very happy for you.
while the rest of UK know that this radio will no longer work after 2014.
does it play mp3?
no
does it play from usb?

Just a thought:
If the analogue signal ever does get switched off, then a simple FM transmitter (£5'ish) plugged into a digital radio will feed all the old radios in the house.
I did think they had scrapped the Digital radio switchover though

Well this model has an Aux In on the front which means one could hook it up to the phone or MP3 player to play MP3's

Also the CD player can play MP3's via CDR's and CDRW's.

I think its fair to say that for £16.99, whatever the criticism, it represents amazing value to those that can find a use for this (whther for the kids, spare room, gift etc)

Probably suitable for a small kitchen and doubtful if anything better at the price. I am amazed though that at least 8 buyers considered this unit was worth paying £40 for !

Tescos and Technika always reminds me of Gerald Ratners famous comment "How can you sell this for such a low price?", I say, "because it's total crap."

Banned

False economy and not particularly cheap.
