Bought one of these when they were £59 last month and I'm impressed with the picture quality. Resolution is 1024x768 which is ample for me and I'm picky with regard to resolution and picture quality.

This high resolution 10" digital picture frame provides crisp and clear images to bring those precious memories to life. The frame can be set up as either landscape or portrait and it includes smart technology, which automatically rotates the images into the correct orientation. It also features a slideshow option and can also be set to display either a clock or calendar. The X100 digital picture frame comes with a remote control for your ease of use.

How flexible is the slideshow on this? Can you set it to play through the pics at randomn or does it always go through them in a set order, also how much control do you have over the time between picture changes is it the rubbish choice between slow, medium and fast transition times or can you specify a time of your own choosing (allowing you to set anything from 1 minute up to 1 day would be ideal) I was tempted by this frame myself when I saw it in tescos a few weeks back, but refuse to buy any more digital photo frames unless they give you more than the most rudimentary control over how your photos are displayed that the norm on most digital frames.

The one youve linked has a resolution of only 800x480 so not as good as the one in the original post

The slideshow timing options are 3, 5, 15sec then 1, 15 or 60 mins. Random picture view is an option. Worst part for me is no video though I'm not sure I'd use that anyway.
Comet one mentioned above looks interesting, cheaper though only has 800x480 resolution vs 1024x768 on the Technika X100.

I bought one today, photo's look fab, the screen res is superb. Ok no video's or mp3's, but hey I bought it to show my photo's, and boy does it do a good job

Has no internal memory, bit of a shame

does anyone know of a Digital frame that you can number the images on screen?
Also controls not on the back so when it is wall mounted you have access to controls?
