The 43" model seems a cheap option for anyone on a tighter budget. Also saw the 49" had also dropped in price and thought was worth a mention (Info/link below)

The 43 has dropped £30ish since the beginning of December and whilst it might not have all the bells and whistles of some of the other ones out there, they are much more expensive and for this kind of cash, looks a pretty good price.

The 49" is Here

I have the Xbox One S plugged up to this, not a bad TV at all and looks OK at 3840 x 2160 with games like Forza 7, The Division actually looks pretty good also to name a few. It obviously doesn't have HDR but at this price you can't really grumble can you. I also use it with Plex from the PC.
Asking here as I'm hoping this gets heat and then all the nerds will see it. Is it possible to get a decent tv without any extras like Freeview etc? The operative word in the previous sentence is 'decent'. Cheers!

Is that not just a monitor

Short answer is yes but the screens marketed as monitors are super expensive so currently if you want anything over 32" in 4k it's far better financially to buy a TV.
not bad for a bedroom tv

Correct! I have been using a Hisense 43M300 as a monitor for about a year, no regrets.
Is this any good? Why is it so cheap? I just ordered a Samsung 40" mu6120 for £100 more..
Good deal for people on a budget. Well done OP. Heat added8)

I am so out of touch with tv's now. Is refresh rate still an issue on these panels and can you see any motion blur in first person games if you move fast like in overwatch. I remember it being a big problem but I am so out of the loop I have no idea. Great price though!
