Techwood are poor. I got the 43” UHD 4K via this app around 3 years back from AO too.

Picture goes white/red/grey static like 80’s and you’ve got to pull HDMI in and out to get picture on , sometime it’s a pink hue and need pulling in and out again ( all ports not just one )

Sound cuts out and you have to pull plug out of the wall to get it back on.

It’s been relegated not to a makeshift computer monitor for the Mac mini as we replaced the junk TV for a Samsung curve 55” 4K which was £99 more from richer sounds clearance.
Its a cheap 65" telly. It might not be perfect but gosh for someone playing video games or watching movies it should be alright surely?
Is this alright as a spare/bedrom telly? Not expecting much for the price but is a lot of telly for the price

Spare/bedroom telly? On a 65 incher?

Im turning the spare bedroom into a games room. Wanted a big telly for gaming and movies outside the main living room telly. Not looking for anything fancy but a big screen would be nice.

Well priced budget 65 incher! Going by the reviews this is a superb telly and smart Functions work.

Yeah the 43” from AO honestly garbage. All the smart functions were in Turkish , BBC iPlayer just crashed right out of the box and had to wait ages for a firmware fix too.

The 43” was the first techwood budget 4K @ £299 and boy oh boy did it show and hasn’t aged well at all.

Vestel have improved their software on the more recent TV's. The newer models are much improved, with all the main UK catch-up apps, Netflix and Amazon Prime, all of which work well. They have good file support over USB too, with NTFS and all 4K HDR formats supported.

Yeah this just shipped with Netflix and BBC in English and rest are like TurkSub , TurkTime , alJazire and zero things to add from a workable App Store
