Hey! It's not the amount of HDMI ports, it's what you do with them that counts!

So I'm told, anyway.

Only really need one from an amp. The 4 I have in my TV are mostly unused.

A tv this big would need a decent sound to go with it. An AV receiver with 5 HDMI would be ideal.

Thanks OP have some heat, purchased one.

TV at the right price point and size for my needs.

A brand like that id want 6yrs warranty. Thats why id get a hisense from richer sounds if theh did this price.

tempted to buy it and set fire to it then through it in the ocean

IF it's HDMI 2.0 then an absolutely fantastic introduction to this size tv for movie watching or maybe football, i can't see a mention of which version of hdmi anywhere

And boy would it glide through those waves (_;)

does it have hdr

I was waiting for a hisense 65" deal but this has got to be pretty similar I'd have thought? Does anyone have experience of this make? Although by the time I've dithered it'll be sold out

Past HUKD comments would suggest that a hisense 65" will offer a better picture as they generally tend to manufacture their own screens. The Techwood is likely to be a Vestel from Turkey:

Bearing in mind the following link reviews a different model Techwood without 4K or DLNA support from last year, the comments about Vestel are still probably valid: trustedreviews.com/tec…iew

dont hold me to it but ive seen on here and been told that this uses a Samsung panel, probably made in Turkey by Vestel, who tend to make a lot of the "own" brands and some of the more well known ones too ( Hitachi/Panasonic etc ), the few reviews i have seen mention the lack of HDR ( which seems to be preferred but not seen at this price point as yet ) - like i say, thats what i have gleaned form here and the few reviews ive seen, hopefully someone can clarify if im right or amend what ive said if wrong - im torn on this one, its such a huge panel for the cash but with Black Friday upon us... wellll, i just dont know whether to bite!

Chances are this will be using a low end Panel from either Innolux or AUO - It's possible it could be a Samsung but highly doubtful given its cost. Vestel do however use a Samsung Panel in a lot of their 55" 4K offerings. If you're after big on a budget keep a close eye on the Hisense HE65K5510 - that's regularly on offer, has been as low as £659 recently and it's a quality Television for the money.

Ive had a damn good look around, and at some reviews and a youtube review and ive bitten the bullet - only 2 HDMI can be remedied with a splitter for a tenner from fleabay - i looked at this compared to a 55" in Richersounds, its HUGE....ill report once it gets here and its set up

look forward to reading your comments

I am tempted but so far i have no idea of how it would be for gaming as i can't find any info about input lag and also the only 2 hdmi ports and no hdr is off putting although i am not sure how much difference HDR actually makes ?

There's no HDR on it I rang AO and checked, that means no 4K gaming through Xbox one
