Does anyone have the measurements for distance between the legs?

Maybe wait for at least the 2nd date before asking that question

Great price but make sure you've measured up before it comes because if you return it within 14 days, as you are legally entitled to do, ao will refund less than £400 of your £549 and no cashback.
Already posted here with information in comments hotukdeals.com/dea…030

Is a cracking deal though, Andy. Purchased one myself yesterday.
I like the name of this TV it conjures up a marriage of technological achievement blended with the natural achievements of millions of years of fine tinkering by nature which is of course wood. So if this TV isn't made out of wood and I get it as a present this year, I'm putting my foot through the panel!

Fair point, but I just want to make sure it doesn't fall off the stand
Hot. Bought.
Unable to see cash back now?
Can't see any reviews about the picture quality...
£599 now and no cashback showing
delivered today, from what I have seen so far seems decent, claim form emailed shortly after delivery with the delivery confirmation really simple just input your bank details and job done.
Techwood products used to be crap. Originally associated with Woolworths.

After a bit of research I found:-They're built (NEW) by a company called Vestel (usually, or Thomson) and sold with a Techwood badge on the front. The Techwood badge, branding and packaging is all done by Vestel, so officially it's built by scratch. Yep a rebadged Vestel lol.

Heres a surprising 4/5 review for a similar 50 inch model. trustedreviews.com/rev…1sb A proper review that one. Heres some info on this or a very similar tv alatest.co.uk/rev…33/

Must say I am surprised. The quality has obviously improved. 65 inch is not too big. Gives a great sense of presence. I have a 55 inch Sony and its too small. Add a soundbar if you take a punt on this.

Code has just expired as I was about to buy
AO have just phoned to say the £100 cashback offer was a mistake...they did however offer an automatic £50 cashback as a gesture of goodwill...inc code...works out as £500 so still good...not as good but still cheapest 65 incher.

Yep , just had the same call.... poor fella has a lot of calls to make this morning.
Yeah, had the same call too.

Although, I only got £40 from the guy.... wishing I'd tried harder to get £50 now!
Yeah, got the same call too. So people are being offered £50 cashback instead of £100?

If you get a chance burntoast, could you up a couple of photos of it thickness wise as wondering if this model has the newer panel in it, compared the the may 2017 one :-)

Got my delivery email through which said I could claim the cashback so used this as the reason to call them as I'd been told they cancelled the cashback offer as it was a mistake but they emailed me to tell me to claim it!

I was polite and the guy I spoke to was very helpful who told me the email had been a mistake and the cashback wasn't available.

Whilst we were talking I asked him how it was worked out that some people were offered just £40, others £50 and some had the whole cashback honoured as it seemed rather inconsistent.

After a short time of him going off to speak to someone else as he agreed it was inconsistent, he came back and honoured the full cashback for me.

This is well above and beyond what AO needed to do - especially as they had offered (and I'd accepted) the £40 to effectively amend our contract yesterday.

So, a big thumbs up to AO and I'll definitely recommend and use them again in future

I'll be wall mounting mine as soon as I get home from work so if burntoast hasn't sent uploaded any pics then I'll upload some.

Fab news Adam, always pays to be polite and give it a whirl, yes they made an error, but unlike a certain indian take away sounding massive superstore chain, AO actually cares!

Yes, their returns % of the return value, is a pain in the backside and has to be the worst thought up part of any terms and conditions of any retailers on the planet, similar in use compared to when they gave away tickets on the Titanic and got you to sign your family name away, in case there were any mishaps... but they do get it right most of the time

A few pix would be cool ((no rush)) as said to burntoast over in the dup thread, just wanted to see if these ones
have the later panel in them or not!

Sorry, I forgot to take pics before wall mounting!

What bit did you want a picture of?

This is front and right hand side. The left hand side is harder for me to get to but if you want I can lean the panel forward and shove the camera up behind!

Received mine today, very impressed with the quality for the price.
Was offered £30 which I accepted. When I saw this post I emailed ao complaining about the unfairness in amounts offered. I received a reply stating everyone was offered £30 if they declined the order was cancelled. I emailed them a link to this post and surprise surprise 48 hours later I get an email saying a further £70 had been credited back to my card, so full £100 cashback. For those who didn't get the full cashback got to be worth a try. Can't fault AO customer service

Totally forgot about the cashback, was in the email with the receipt on.
filled the cash back request in 25 days ago, still not been paid, called there to check it was all on their system, as the acknowledgement email from ao.com said paid with in 28 days.

it wasnt so he manually did it on the phone, should be in account in 3-5 days now.
they had no trace of it on system so glad i called
