    had one of these, caused the hdmi my android box to blow when I switched from firestick to it. I'm a bit hesitant about a/b switchers now sadly because it worked for a few days, and I really wanted it to be long term reliable. Anybody had similar experience?

    Had this one and using it to transmit 4k 60hz caused so many problems. The screen would go blank for a few seconds and cause weird pixels to appear. Switching to a 4k 120hz seemed to solve the problem (whilst still transmitting 4k 60hz).

    Have tried a few flavours of these - as my cheap Costco TCL 4K tv only has 2x HDMI ports and I had VM STB, Firestick and DVD player. Never managed to get reliable input from any of them, they were all '4K @ 60Hz' but all managed to downgrade my signal to 1080p or 2160p @30Hz (if I was lucky) also it was Russian roulette if my TV would see an input when switched. I gave up in the end and went back to manual switching the cables - with all the streaming apps I rarely need DVDs these days anyway.

    Be careful with splitter boxes, always buy the ones that come with a power lead as some without power can damage screens and other devices.

    I bought one of these the other day to take 4k60 from a series X and split that between a TV and Sony MDR-HW700DS headphones that only accepts hdmi 1.4. I haven't tried it yet 😁. Does anyone have an idea of what are the chances of it working?

    Was a bit excited thinking it would extend output from the laptop onto 2 monitors but clearly states it doesn't. Have tried a few of the extender capability ones but not been able to run 2 HDMI connections at the same time.

    You need a docking station if your laptop only has HDMI out, sadly they used to be cheap before COVID but not so much now.

    Hopefully this will allow Sky Q to output to the splitter and into an HDMI over Cat 6 box of tricks.

    It's a great splitter. Use this to display my laptop on to two more screens at the same time.

    This device can't do that, the comments here, the comments on Amazon, and even the seller tells you two screens at once is not possible.

    Had something similar to split input between firestick and Sky Q going into my my sound bar ARC…. Works nicely…. This seems to have the flexibility of doing in or out and that’s useful for my daughter switching between switch and computer on her monitor…. Thanks

    I've got something like this on my Sony 2.1 HDMI port, use it to switch between my Series x and PS5, been working great for me, I get 120hz when the game needs it

    Can anyone recommend one to switch between a PS5 and a Nintendo Switch? I just want it to work but all the ones I see just don’t work.

    This is the new version of the one below it which is the one I have been using for over a year on a Samsung TV with a Switch, PC and DVR.
    Auto switches and works perfectly without any additional power.

    I bought this last week but sending it back.

    Had my Xbox Series S and PS5 connected to my 4k monitor through this device.

    Worked fine with the Xbox but on the PS5 is kept giving me a black screen every minute or so. Not sure if I was doing something wrong?

    I had the same thing with another device and I found I needed a powered HDMI splitter for the PS5. Got one with a micro usb connector and it has been.
