Near identical to the Anker 8000DPi laser mouse, which is the number one selling gaming mouse on amazon, for £11 cheaper.

Absolute bargain for a pretty high spec mouse, especially when compared to the near identically spec'd anker laser mouse at around £26.

Can't go too far wrong for less than a tenner if you want an upgrade from your dated non programmable mouse.

Features:

- 8200 DPI high-precision laser sensor, 1000 polling rate, 12000 frame rate, 100-150 inch/s speed, 30g acceleration.

-9 programmable buttons, 4 adjustable DPI profiles, 8-piece weight-tuning system, 16 million customizable light colors, 2 onboard stored profiles.

-Aesthetic and easy-to-use control panel, assign actions to each programmable buttons more conveniently than ever.

-16-bit ultra-wide data path. Non-slip buttons, silent protective underside. Six-foot braided fiber cable, gold-plated USB connector. Product dimensions: 127 x 70 x 40 mm.

-Natural curves that fit your palm and smooth-gliding underside tips provide you with epic comfort and control.

Thank you kind sir!

oi! I was about to post this s'pose Ashe deserves the credit as I overlooked it went in my basket for less!

After looking at a few videos and pics, I'm pretty damn certain this is identical to the Anker, which is £25 on amazon and has fairly decent reviews.

Sod it, I love my intellimouse 4 but it's starting to stick. gotta risk it for a tenner.

Definitely worth it, my friend has a wireless tecknet mouse (it's 10 pound on amazon) and he thinks it's great.

Back in stock!! Ordered.

Will give it a go at this price, thanks OP!

Mine arrived today. I've installed the iAnker driver rather than from the Tecknet CD, in case it was a later version - worked fine. I haven't used the mouse much yet though, but until I installed the driver below and applied, the higher DPI setting moved the mouse far too quickly!

I installed the 1.1 driver listed there.

Thanks Ashe! Useful to know before I install mine!

yup the cd has v1.

first impressions are that it's a great mouse for the price - probably great even for the RRP.
I've turned off the logo light, but it would be nice to know if I could get it to flash if, for example, I got an email.

Hey Tapi, I installed the software with the mouse...how do you turn off the logo light? Or did you do this with the anker software?

Also, for the price...this is a great mouse I'd agree!!!

To turn off the light, select 'Close' under 'Brightness Level' in the Light tab.

Thanks for the info Ashe - I intended to try Anker driver too but nice to know it's compatible. This post has been overlooked cos item went oos just after posting, Should have been scorching 'cos it's virtually identical in build & spec. to the 8000 dpi Anker which is No 1 Best Seller in gaming mice on Amazon....... @ £25.99 !!

After having used the mouse and the tecknet software and anker software.. I can honestly say that this is 99% identical to the anker mouse. Same design, software, functionality, wire, buttons, number of profiles etc. Anker mustn't have had a patent on their mouse!
Bargain.

New mouse to go with new laptop - have some heat

Just noticed there's a button on the underside of the mouse - any idea what that does?!

EDIT: figured it out, it swaps between Profile 1 and Profile 2!

I do not need it for my current gaming obsession (Dungeon Defenders) but I am sure it will get plenty of use.

Voted hot of course

I just need a good gaming keyboard deal now...

Thanks ordered, Need a mouse..

Are these worth it if you don't do any gaming on the PC?

I've got one, I have to disagree!

Going to buy a second one, as you wont get a better gaming mouse for under a tenner, and handy to have a spare as mice do wear down over the years.

Damn, wish it was wireless. I play from my sofa.

Would anyone recommend this: amazon.co.uk/Hig…use

Weren't these the guys who had the 1p torches? They canceled my order for 100...

Bought for my little brother, when it came Monday, I only had a quick go with it, couldn't fault it, very impressed with the software, though the base of the mouse feels cheap, but what do you expect for a tenner, might buy another as a backup for myself

great find - thanks

Yep that looks like the same. Thanks for the find, heat added.
