A 50 Watt 6 Port Charger at a good price (£14.49 delivered) for those that require a bit more power (and an extra socket) than my previous posted deal for the Anker 25W charger.

For a free 1 metre Apple lightning cable add the cable to your basket, then enter code PN3MERNP at checkout .. NOTE that BOTH items (charger and lightning lead) must be in your basket for code to work. OR See post #6.. Thanks jg213 !

You have to add the cable referred to in the USB charger listing so that you have the charger AND cable in your basket..then add the code. Worked for me about an hour ago..Hope that helps

Good deal..thanks

The code worked for me.

Look for the orange heading "Special Offers and Product Promotions"

and click "Add Both" just under the cable description line.

Ah ok cheers!

Don't need one, but it's a good deal, so popping in to say thanks. Have some heat

Good deal. Cable is good value too even at 4.99

Is this Apple certified?

Wonder if they have the same problem as the older Ankers with the noise?

O_o There is always that one person

2-3 week delivery for the cable though and ordering them both moves delivery date to the middle of September

What's the issue?

Can't tell from phone but if it's this one I'd imagine it'll work OK, have had cheap non MFI certified ones before that will charge an iPad Mini but not a 5C, or stop working after an iOS update.

[Apple MFi Certified] TeckNet® 1M Apple Lightning to USB Cable,Lightning Sync & Charge USB Cable for for iPhone 5s / 5c / 5, iPad Air / mini / mini2, iPad 4th generation, iPod 5th generation, and iPod nano 7th generation

Just ordered. thanks

probably a stupid question, but does this plug into a wall socket or into a usb port on your computer?

cancel my question, just seen another in the range posted earlier shows a wall cable, and one of the pictures on this deal shows the back of the unit where the cable gets plugged in, so wall socket it is and therefore ordered!

Ordered, thanks OP

very good price. same build quality as Anker?

Wall socket. You cant get 50W of power out of a socket on a PC, not without frying it. Thats a lot of energy!

Oh I don't know, USB3 has a completely different power range compared to USB2.
It may not to 50w but will in the future.

Does this have a USA plug too?

Awesome deal and you get a free lightning cable. Fantastic.

You may be right - but 50W is a *lot* of heat. Think of a 100W lightbulb. Now imagine pushing 50W through the connectors on the motherboard. Most laptops use 50W for everything, so the PSU would need 50+50W. I know USB3 is much better, and it would be nice. Note that the picture shows a mains cable - similar to the Anker device. In fact the Anker and this look very similar except this has 6 slots.

Just checked - looks like USB3 can do upto 4.5W (900mA), so we are still a way out from this. (USB2 is 2.5W/500mA) I believe.

Still it would be cool to have a device like this powering all the devices around a TV, including the TV! Imagine what the cabling would look like - a darn site better than every home today!

Thanks. Code worked fine.

will this charge tablets and phones all at the same time and at full power? I know lower voltage ones have issues charging multiple items especially mix of tablets and phones.

have ordered - hopefully it is better than the anker ones i have had which fail very quickly

The reviews are generally good. The worst some people can come up with is like, "ooh the blue light is ever so bright, I can't get to sleep"

I would suggest that as charging devices has a real potential fire risk. Charging over night should be avoided if possible in any case. Jees, some peeps. oO

The blue light is a deal breaker for me.

Bought one of these a few months ago. It sits by the bed charging the iPad, iphone, kindle and the wife's Galaxy S4 all with no problems.

Was an absolute godsend on a recent holiday abroad, saved packing a whole bunch of plugs.

No issue with noise or the blue light!

Estimated delivery: 19 Sep 2014 - 27 Sep 2014

I'm thinking of getting this or the Anker one. Does anyone have experience / suggestions of which one to get? Cheers.

Is it £15 just for the lightning cable?

I have an Anker 40w and it's superb! For a few quid extra I'd recommend that any day.....
