Seems pretty good for the money.

Samsung grade A battery? Do they use used batteries?

have the 13 and 15mah. really like them both, both same size. like the overall build of these and the 'easy' button but not too easy (drain accidentally)

When you can buy a 20000mah battery packs for £11 from eBay. Is this a good deal?

I bought one of the smaller 3000mAH versions from them. Worked the first time then failed. Having said that, it was an easy return and refund.

just google eBay powerbank feedback

many use poor quality cells and are not really the capacity stated - it has been reported taht some even contain sand to give the correct weight.

At least these are from a reputable supplier and do what they say they do

I'm wary of a lot of the ebay stuff, take this one for example:

30,000mAh and a solar panel for under a tenner? I think you'd be lucky to get a 3,000mAh!

been thinking of getting one of these. Thanks.

Ordered, cheers

Anything claiming rediculous mAh values will be using poor quality *Fire (TrustFire, UltraFire etc.) cells, these have been shown to be basically recycled laptop batteries and the capacity is nowhere near what's claimed:

See torchythebatteryboy.com/p/1…tml and torchythebatteryboy.com/p/d…tml

Measured Capacity v. what is claimed. Which is why you need good cells in these battery packs:

I think these are quite useful to have around, and this one seems good for the balance of capacity, warranty and price. Voted hot.

from tecknetonline.co.uk/tec…tml

86% charging efficiency: Energy efficiency rate 10% above than other Brand batteries. Constructed using Premium Samsung Grade A cells and premium microchips to ensure the highest quality

Looks like they backed down on the charging efficiency, but I'm gonna take a punt on one of these to go with my Anker 13000mAh. Cheers OP!

"- Li Battery Technology: After 6 months, still over 70% of total capacity"

I should hope so! I thought lithium ion/polymer batteries lost about 10% a year of their total capacity? And that's being charged and discharged everyday?

Am I missing something here?

I think it means, if you charge it up, then leave it 6 months, the battery will still be 70% charged (low self-discharge).

Rather than, on a full charge the full capacity will be 13000mAh, After 6 months, the full capacity will be 9100mAh.

haha how the F did I not see that, cheers!

Caved in and ordered, could do with another for when camping.

How many times would this charge your device from 0-100%?

Well, now that depends on the device your charging.

Look up your devices specs, and as a very rough guide divide 13,000 by the mah of your devices battery and this is how many times it will charge your device.

A friend used one of these at an expo last weekend... it powered the card payments machine he used and kept his iPad running throughout. I also charged my phone up on it on day 2... pretty faultless and the power was more than enough for all three devices using just the one charge. I am VERY tempted!

I bought a 10,000 mAh external battery off Amazon a few weeks ago for the same price. I was v happy with it until I saw this deal

I got this down to £17:55 on flubit, o.O very tempted.

The charging efficiency is allegedly 80%, so that would account for 11,000ish.

I have been debating to either buy an easyacc or tecknet battery?
Which one do you think is better?

Should i buy the easyacc (the link)
Or this one in the deal?

You can't really, unless they say in their technical specs (Tecknet use Sanyo (? I think, or Samsung) which are good quality cells.

The cheap Chinese ones will use TrustFire batteries which may have 3600mAh or something written on them but it doesn't mean anything.
