Not to want to moan at another of Edi's Argos posts, but don't expect the coating on these to be great.

Also if you order or reserve online don't forget Nectar:

Look very much liek mine that are starting to go..has taken about 4 years though

Not bad

I brought this set last time it was on offer- not the best set- the handles are heavier than the saucepans and woks so they tip over.

The lids also doesn't have an air vent so I would not recommend the set at all.

+ those little plastic inserts in the handles flipin well fall out....I'm never buying Tefal again!

Got these last year, average at best.

as a big lover of Tefal kitchen electricals I do not rate my sisters pan set at all, I guess those pro ones that the annoying J Oliver endorse are okay but the cheaper ones NO NO NO...

we invested in Le Crueset some years back and have never regretted it, they really are the best pans ever IMO.. but we do still need non stick fry pans and we have Bialetti ones which again are brilliant, and you can usually pick them up in TK Maxx quite cheap..

We had these when we got married three years ago. Still going ok, good on an electic hob but fall over lots on a gas hob.
I expected better of Tefal. Out best saucepan is a £10 woolies one.
The frying pan is good in this set though, the non stick has been brilliant.

Nice to see I was right about the quality of these.

What I want to know is how good is that tefal guarantee?

Because I suspect wear and tear doesn't count...

Don't Tefal pans have a life time guarantee?

Don't Tefal pans have a life time guarantee?

Only the non-stick Teflon coating is guaranteed for life time

I got these as an anniversary present yesterday so I'm going to swap them tomorrow for a different set. Anyone recommend another brand? Is prestige any good?

Hi there

I have used this set for about 1 year and a half. The non-stick coating on the saucepans is scratched although they are quite well cared for. Only the frying pan is still ok. I am quite disappointed with Tefal's quality despites its reputation.

By the way, any one know how to ask for the life time guarantee of Tefal? I bought them from Argos more than 12 months ago and don't keep receipt any more.

Thanks,

Hello, just bought these and from the comments I'm wondering whether to take them back.

Would this set be better? argos.co.uk/web…001

Thanks in advance.
