That's the white, the grey is often a higher price. So good deal from me, still torn between air fryer (Philips) and this......

actifryer all day

We have an actifry.....my parents got the Philips air fryer. By far I think the actifry is better (granted never used the air fryer 'myself' just tasted what mother made when was round there and wasn't impressed - could just be her cooking :))

I just brought the one.

Is it actually any good? Always tempted but don't want it just sitting there

+1 ^^

What's the code? Do you think might still work today? Thanks

Had ours a year. Use it about three times a week. Mainly chips, roasties, jacket wedges from fresh potatoes. Roasted veg is lovely too.

Air Fryer cooks chips in half the time. Counts a lot in my book.
Also lots of reports about Actifry reliability not very good (french),

I'd think a halogen oven is cheaper and more versatile. Our halogen does great oven chips, but also bakes and roasts.

Got one as well, havent tried chips in it yet, will tonight though!

My Actifry caught fire. I had to pick it up in flames wearing oven gloves and deposit it outside.

The flames grew and grew until they were about 6 feet high before it burnt itself out.

On complaining to Tefal and offering to send the remains they offered a replacement for about £79

I'd rather have a kitchen than an Actifry.

I do hope they have sorted the problem out though. It was pretty decent for the 4 loads of chips it ever did make.

got mine through flubit last week for £79. Used it twice for chips which were very nice.

That's the flame grilled setting

on a serious note though do these stink your house out with chip smell ?

The Actifry is a great design, built like crap. Which is sad, because it means we find it an indispensable part of our kitchen and yet we're always shelling out for new lids and paddles. Thankfully we haven't had it catch fire!

I'd advise avoiding the cheapest price you can get and buying it from a place like Costco that will provide a better warranty than Tefal does. Tefal does NOT care about their customers in the slightest.

You werent using it on your hob were you?

I swear the Activfry plus was the same price a few weeks ago

I bought mine from Argos four years ago with the extended warrany it has been change 5 times because the paddle kept breaking. We use it every day and would not be without it.

Would buy one of these, but relatives are buying us a non branded one for Christmas.
Wouldn't be worth the hassle to constantly have to switch them around every time them come around.

If I bookmark the link to Amazon given in that page, would that give the 5% every time? Will just replace the URL in my Amazon bookmark if it does.

I have an Actifry which I mainly use for chips and wedges. They come out nice, but the Airfryer ( from what I heard) can be used for more things like Chicken wings, meat kebabs, samosas etc. In the Actifry u can't use these as it turns and breaks it. It's depends what u need it for. Hope this helps.
