Can't be bothered to check my local, I would be in if it was nationwide.

Yes because they never have these offers on at my Tesco. I haven't voted, just stated it's not worth a special trip.

Super deal if one can find it. I was very happy to buy it for £90 recently for a friend which seemed a very good deal then.

I tend to agree, there are lots of 'local' deals in Tescos that never appear in my local but if something appears on here that I am after then I will pop down to check anyway, you never know. If we all take the 'can't be bothered' approach then we would simply stop posting things on here at all...

nice find for a local deal...still showing full price on the website though so i guess it is not nationwide!

Was there many left at Hull!? I have been after one for ages but couldn't really afford it. But this is a super price

Already have an actifry and voting hot as this a great price

Hot hot hot
May need a little trip to my local tesco to see if any in stock

Unless you are going to Tesco anyway, why not just call your local to check?

Some of these left on the shelf at the Chelmsford Home Store on Parkway yesterday.

Wanted one of these for ages
My local was recently knocked down lol

I got the family size at tesco Glasgow forge yesterday for £77 down from £189!!

did they have many when you were there?

No only seen the one that a bought but worth checking other local stores cos they where clearing lots of electrical stuff.

i'll have a look in my tesco, but our electrical section is only 2 shelves..i will be very surprised if they have it there

If you like pale, tasteless chips this is just what you need. Good price though if you do.

Probably best you try a different store then.

Used this last night no pale tasteless chips from my machine you might not have cooked them long enough

These are meant to make fantastic health chips, for £50 its a good deal.

I think you're doing it wrong...gold brown and crunchy from mine

A local offer near me, heat for that alone.

Shame I'm at work now. I've tried 01482 303400 to ask if they have any stock left/ can put one aside for me but just keeps ringing with no answer. Might risk a trip into town around 6pm as it is a bit of a bargain.

We've got a Breville Halo and they only turn out pale when I don't leave them in for long enough because every time I cook it's a disaster and I put them in too late.

Call them?

Does no one else think 52 quid is still really expensive for what is in essence a fancy chip fryer?? I just buy Tesco Finest Frozen oven chips at 2 quid a bag...I only have 8 chips once a week...

It's obviously a good price considering the original price but still seems a heck of a lot of dosh for a fat fryer...

It cooks other stuff as well as chips. We use our Halo all the time and it's much quicker than the oven.

Its how it cooks them, hence the extra price for being healthy. They can do other stuff than chips.

Within the context of Tesco deals that would be great.

So because it's going "fry" in the name of the product it's a deep fat fryer.

By that thinking I've got a great offer for you, would you like to buy a £50 quid halogen oven off me for £200, it's very cheap considering a built in oven costs lots more than that.

Also have some own brand cola?

How about a special dip I made out of feces? After all, a dips a dip.

Has anyone bought one, who can show a receipt for the purchase? I live in East Lancashire, and I have several Tesco stores in my locality (Blackburn/Accrington/Great Harwood area). I would be willing to travel around my area to get one, but I don't want to go on a wild goose chase, as is common with Tesco deals.

Why should I spend 50£ for chips firer if I eat chips only once every 2 months

A series of phone calls reveals that there are none in the East Lancashire Corridor area. This includes: Preston, Blackburn, Great Harwood, Accrington, Rossendale (Rawtenstall), and Burnley. None of these stores have stock.

None in carrickfergus or newtownabbey (n Ireland) either

because in our mass consumption economy, buying the latest gadgets constantly fuels growth even if you only use it once and sits in the cupboard gathering dust. Personally I can't wait to buy high tech oxygen masks in a few decades time as they'll probably be essential items in the home by then.
