I bought a Cosori Pro LE 4.7L and it looks very slick and it did my frozen wedges in 10mins. In our rather old tefal actifry it took about 20-25 mins.

Frozen sausages took 10 mins but kept them in for another 4 mins to get them brown and they tasted great.

This model is now sold out on Amazon with a 4-8week delivery time! (edited)

You've actually convinced me to buy that one. I've a 4yr old tefal actifry that also takes about 30mins for fries, frozen or fresh potato. The scoup system prevents it cooking many types of food. So it's got to go for this bad boy. Thank you

I’m really wondering are they any good? I mean air fryers. Is this a hype or they are really ‘new generation’ oven?

I bought a ninja out of curiosity. They are basically ultra hot high powered hair driers on airfry, so they are cheaper to run as smaller space and the forced airflow ensures faster cooking times.

As for the name airfry- thats just a marketing blurb which has now become synonymous with these gadgets- its really an extra efficient mini convection oven.

The steam pressure cooking functions on the ninja are useful to reduce cooking times, these cheaper models do not have this
