Good reviews, great price - heat.

Thanks

Is this like the horribly noisy 'pressure cookers' my mum used to have when I was young?

m1chaels - I am not an expert on this thing - and although it works by increasing pressure the same as a pressure cooker, I believe that it makes little or no noise....but I am not an expert - will tell you when I get mine.

Looks good. Reviews reckon it's better than a pressure cooker with less steam everywhere. Hot from me.

Can some explain how a deal makes it to being hot or not? Who decides this? Thanks and sorry if it is not the correct forum - I have looked everywhere on the site and cannot see it.

I don't get that much steam with a regular pressure cooker, I just have to turn the gas down once its up to pressure, so you just get a gentle hiss, and if I want to avoid the steam when I depressurise mine, I take it to the sink and run cold water over the lid. Mind you my cooker hood vents outside, so I usually don't bother.

The is a temperature shown in degrees next to posted deals with a red arrow facing upwards and a blue arrow facing down. People vote on whether a deal is hot or not by choosing the red to increase the heat on a deal and vice versa if they don't believe its a deal clicking on the arrows. Hope that makes sense.

And click on the "new" tab at the top of the page to find the newly posted deals that haven't been voted hot enough to make it to the front page.
