Why is this a bargain? Well it's a much more powerful grill than the George Forman's. It can all go in the dishwasher. It can open up to use as a flat grill. It's Tefal! You can make toasted ciabattas and sandwiches in it too.

... oh and it's cheap.

I've bought one and used and it's great.

Could arrange but will cost ya What do you wanna know? One good thing is that the grill plates have many more and finer ridges than the George Formans for that really great professional look.

One thing I discovered to be a careful of is that this grill will burn food if you leave on the total maximum setting. This isn't a fault, I just wasn't used to that amount of power my George is half as hot! On 1, 2 or 3 is good.

Is better in many ways. Best for me is that it can do toasted sandwiches. I tried that on my Formby. Took ages in my Forby. Also I don't like the toasted sandwich makers that try to cut the sandwiches and this doesn't do that.

Fair point, but you can get in store too. Is worth a good root around the site tho. I got some very cheap saucepans and other bits.

George Formby - Wasn't he a ukelele player & singer ? Sorry just being picky. It's a great find & voted HOT.

It's ugly Tefal(Ugly Betty).

The George Formby grill is probably retro style I'd guess!

Does it have the dreaded bun warmer on top like the Foreman ?
Still got the scars here, should be called a bun burner.

just popped on to the Tefal UK website to see what the dimensions of the grill are - product is absent from Tefal UK website (it is on the .com website)
- BUT they're about to launch a kettle alternative that can make hot water in 3 seconds!

found a review that says that the grill area is about 7.5" X 11.5" - big enough for 4 burgers.

Brilliant that you can wash grill plates and also that body is cool. I hate cleaning my breville "chefs professional" and I often burn my fingers on the body.

Good Deal.

Mine had been shipped via City Link already.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This is Ugly Betty (America Ferrera):
