I was fishing for a christmas present on currys and saw this, looks like a good price, Amazon is £36! Has anybody used one?

Used it for three weeks and sent it back. Cheese grater gets blocked in five seconds, the hole to feed food stuff in is too small for courgettes and cucumbers. I'd give it 0.5/10
A Christmas present! Someone's gonna be happy with a kitchen appliance - not.
got to say have one and it is crap not even worth a tenner
yeh i agree ... bought and sent back, didnt work for anything .... cant understand why they released this
I've wanted one of these for ages, what a let down reading your comments lol.

I know I looked at the mince and shred one, but its like £69.99. Dont think ill bother. If no one buys it theyll reduce the lot to clear the stock, I might have a bash then but I need more discount before I jump in.
You didn't buy it did you? If you did the person you are buying for will be disappointed.
oO I really wanted one until I read the reviews but thank you as I just saved myself £60.00

Used ours for two days without problem, carrots, cheese, cucumber - all sliced without incident. Wife asked for one and she is happy with job it does. £29 from amazon with free del for us.
really rubbish product, had to return as wont work for most foods.
These are pants. Motor not much cop. The replacement model, Fresh Express Plus is worth a look, but the original not.
Got one for Xmas - it's great for cheese, takes a fraction of the time! Rabbits like it for carrots too
We watch Jamie's 15 minutes so went for this purchase but have to say - might as well buy a food processor because this is a glorified grater (plus a food processor has much more functionality).

Hate that you have to hold the veg and press it down, as well as having to hold the button for the entire time - you cant just pop it in and leave it to work.

Slices very very very thinly/finely - did some parsnips for christmas dinner and they were paper thin. Good for vegetable crisps but not for much else. It looks nice though.

This is amazing. Loads of terrible reviews from people with the only positives being from people who've only used it for 2 days.

Despite this, loads of people vote hot just because it's cheap. You couldn't make it up. oO
I would have thought that, even for £30, this machine should have a motor which was a lot more powerful. Alot of kids toys have 150W motors in them; I mean, TEFAL, you can not be serious! In case anyone missed my point I am reccomending you don't buy this at the price quoted.oO
has been this price for months
I agree. it has been this price for months. I reservered sometime back and did not pick up as I have heard bad reviews about this product not worth for this money...less than tenner should be OK
It's been out of stock at all Currys and Argos in West Central Scotland for weeks - since it dropped to that price, although I saw the other day it was back up in price at Argos.. I asked my local Currys & Argos when they would get more in and both said not sure if they would. As another poster said, its £29 in Amazon, but given the reviews I've decided against it.
Got an 8.2 over 40+ reviews on Revoo... Yet everyone I have asked personally, think its rubbish!

So you're saying that the fact that it doesn't do what you'd reasonably expect it to is ok if it's only a tenner? Would you buy a tv that you couldn't see a picture on if that was only a tenner?
They have brought out a new version to address the problems with this one. The tefal fresh express plus. Not sure it if that works either though.

A few people mentioned Express Plus is better, but actually what's the difference as visually they seems to be identical.
Fresh express plus still only has 150 watt motor, only difference is a longer feed tube and a crinkle cutter...There's an even newer model being released Jan 2013, tefal fresh express max,it has a 230 watt motor and a dicer, seen it on Amazon and Very...think it's around £69.99 tho.

Actually they were launched more or less the same time. fresh express for mass market, fresh express plus for high end retailers.
The product it's self is identical bar the face plate colour, it has a different accessories though, a longer feeder chute and a couple of different blades.

My wife likes this and uses all the time, and she is a real kitchen person. We paid 45 for it back then. Don't know why all the negative comments about it. I guess you need to know how and for what to use it.

Ours continues to do the job we need it for - now 6 days later.

Can only assume others have expected too much from it, we cut the carrots / cheese into blocks which it grates perfectley, cucumber also sliced without incident - does what it suggests it can do in my book.

No blockages, no mush, very little liquid - even looks the part left out on the worktop
Not available for order.. Heat added
