Works really well, we love Jacket spuds in ours.
Bought this at a similar price in Tesco last year. It is perfect for what we want and have had no problem with it.

We got a Philips Air Fryer 4 months ago and it gets used most days. Decided to get this to use in our caravan. If you only use for the 'gilt free ' chips it's worth it. Oven chips taste much better done in an air fryer , home made chips are good too , plus a host of other things , ie. Fish Fingers ( my favorite). Even sausage , bacon and mushroons are good , the eggs tend to run out of the basket when I'm doing a breakfast but I'm working on that

Yeah normally microwave first then 15 minutes in the Air fryer to crisp up the skins lovely, I promise they come out perfect a million times better than our oven.

The Chip Basket and the bowl that collects the fat ,etc. both pull out to clean. Just drop them in a bowl of soapy water and a quick wipe and they're clean. The mesh part at the bottom of the basket sometimes needs a rub with a scouring sponge. Ours gets cleaned once a week , no problem.

I have just watched a review on this. Am I right (surely not) that it takes 30 minutes to cook chips?

I've had a go with ours now and chips took 20 mins. Our Philips (2Kw) takes nearer 15 mins. You can reduce times by around 5 mins for frozen chips. The results are good in both. Did breakfast this morning , sausage takes 10, bacon and mushrooms took 8 mins. All cooked together just put sausages in 2 mins before rest.
