Go on make that special lady in your life feel extra special on Christmas Day by buying her a cut price steam generator iron....Tefal GV6720 Effectis Steam Generator Iron £59.00 @ Tesco Direct with Free Delivery to store. Supposedly reduced from £129 and is the cheapest price I can find on-line for this particular model...next cheapest I can find online at the moment is £96.46 @ The Hut and Iwantoneofthose but no doubt Amazon will pricce match Tesco so worth keeping an eye on them if you'd prefer to buy from Amazon.

Packed with user-friendly features, Tefal’s GV6720 steam generator makes it easy to achieve optimum ironing results.

The steam generator features a powerful 5-bar pressure boiler, which heats up in just two minutes so it’s ready to go when you’re ready to iron. It also has a smart cord, with a patented Easycord system to fight wear and tear, a smart cord storage system and an in-use refill system, which allows for nonstop ironing. Its continuous steam of 100g/min makes light work of removing creases.

The GV6720 features Tefal’s unique Ultraglide Diffusion soleplate with active lines to help the iron glide smoothly across the fabric. The soleplate has been specially made to be extremely scratch resistant with hardwearing properties. The raised lines running across the soleplate ensure excellent heat distribution, optimal steam diffusions and a reduced surface area resistance for enhanced glide-ability.

The Tefal GV6720 steam generator iron’s lightweight design makes it easy to carry and is compact for easy storage.

Thanks for making me laugh out loud at this time of night....so needed it considering I haven't slept for a few days...

Would love to see that written inside a card on a gift tag but suspect you may end up getting clouted with the iron X)

we have this iron in my work (a kilt hire shop) and it's pretty decent.

Voted hot, this is an excellent deal. Cost over £100 when I bought it a couple of years ago, would give it 5/5 but wouldn't be pleased to get a an iron for a Christmas present

Neither would I to be very honest....think the end result would involve a new CSI case....

My friends used to call such presents 'CUC' i.e. cadeau d utilité collective, present that is useful for the collectivity, not the receipent. Not a present.

You can go and buy this absolute bargain of an ironing board to go with it!

Good god is it gold plated or something????

See Amazon have price matched Tesco's price for the Iron...must be a bad day for them considering they've kind of been bitch slapped by Tesco on various items...so much for Amazon's extended Black Friday deals week bargains most retailers seem to be offering better prices and better items for that matter....
