I can't believe this is not hot.

Heat given oscarcat. Amazon will surely price match these shortly.

these seem to be reduced in a few places lately, seen them in debenhams and got myself one from wilkos, worth a look if they are more convenient.

Rubbish..............they bow in the middle, so the red spot doesn't get a chance to go red. Had 2 now, same issue.

Ok if you cook all your food around the edges of the pan though

I wouldn't call them rubbish, they're more solid than most of the pans in this price range. The first Tefal I had was 24cm, that started to bow on edges but only after few years of admittedly rough use. I replaced it with a 28cm Tefal Intensium 1½ years ago and it's still on level. The coating lasts ages, I think.

Are these even silicone? Same price as this always in TK Maxx.

I got one of these.. Got for £11 from Argos year ago. And it's coating has started to chip off now.. Not happy with it...

so great deal and price!

Is there any Tefal model that the coating won't chipped off?

Is everyone sure they're comparing like for like here, there are lots of different Tefal frying pans, these are called Thermospot but a quick search on the internet reveals plenty of others, called such names as Specifics, Cook, Enjoy, Superior, Preference and Adventure, they all have a red spot in the centre, available from Debenhams, Tesco etc.

Sainsbury will reduce these further if you wait....got mine last year 70% off

Sense not to use metal cooking items so they don't scratch or chip... and don't put in the dishwasher...
aluminum and dishwashers don't mix but are still good friends

Booooooooooo that man X)

Which is better, the sainsbury's … Which is better, the sainsbury's onehttp://www.sainsburys.co.uk/sol/shop/home_and_garden/cookware/pots_and_pans/frying_pans/123569820_tefal-cook-30cm-frying-pan.htmlor this amazon one (cook range vs intensio?)http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tefal-Intensium-30-cm-Frypan/dp/B005O9QXG2

No experience on that Cook model, I had a Tefal Jamie Oliver or something and replaced it with an Intensium. After 1½ years of use I can recommend Intensium, it's robust and no problems with the coating. I've never had problems that the coating would chip off, but I also don't use metal items or wash the pans in a dishwasher.

452 really good reviews for the 30cm pan on the Sainsburys web site 4.9 out of 5 overall, so these pans can't be that bad, people are obviously happy with them

The set where ya get a medium and small frying pan, 3 different saucepans and some utensils regularly crops up for around £50
Also seen Argos do sales before and had pans around £10-15 each so not that great a deal.

Good pans and may be best at moment but it's not that crazily cheap!

At work...... Small phone..... Not concentrating..... = what a **** I am lol. Saw the Was price and thought that was the reduction..... What a dumb as ;op

Spent alot of money down the years on various brands of pans. Generally found the tefal pans to be absolute garbage, personally would rather spend good money on a good set of pans rather than this cheap tat which is overpriced in the first place. Don't know how anyone can prefer the Tefal pans if they've used ceramic pans or the higher quality brands, e.g. the Circulon set of pans.

Hundreds of reviews on the Sainsbury site for this product disagree with you.

Don't see the thermospot pans on TK Maxx website cheaper a similar 30cm one looks like it £16.99
