This one at 8 bar is way, way more powerful than the £34 amazon one. Looking at the specs the normal constant steam output of this one is as powerful as the shot of steam boost of the other one.

I had the £34 one on order but cancelled it in favour of a 6.5 bar Morphy Richards one from AO for £79.

Ahh nice! I don't know much about irons but it seemed okay. Do you think it's a good buy? I mean, I know it's voted cold at the moment, but should I stick with my order or cancel it in favor of another. I broke my iron the other day (basically dropped it) so need one asap... any help appreciated

Well from my limited research on steam generators recently, there are two types. High pressure ones and well, not high pressure ones. I think ones that have over 6 bar of pressure will be considered "high pressure" so this one for 8 bar is a bit of a monster and the highest I've seen. Should absolutely breeze through your ironing pile! I think £120 is a good price for that amount of pressure. I was well please with £79 for a 6.5 bar one. There was a 6.5 bar Tefal one on offer at Amazon for £71 but that became unavailable very quickly.
Get the Morphy Richards one from AO
Have had it for a while and it’s Better than the Phillips that died on me several times.....
