I think you can get these for the same price from Argos.... any maybe less with voucher from John Lewis (is that £20 one around still?), but after reading the reviews on amazon, I don't think i'll bother with either.

I don't even drink hot drinks, but thought it'd be great for the odd occaision when I make them for other people, sounds like a good idea - but it needs some work, apparently - like actually boiling the water for a start.

This is great for HOT water for coffee etc.

But not so good for things that need boiling water such as Making Jelly / Gravy etc.

Drinking a very hot cup of tea right now

Does it pour a set amount of water into the cup or can you have as much as you need?

do not buy this its utter ****,we took ours back,if it actually worked it would be great, the water does not boil, you cant brew a cup of tea and when you make coffee you have to drink it straight away as its luke warm,im suprised they lauched it with this problem, the woman at the shop said they had had loads taken back ,....giv it a miss hopefully someone will make one that actually :-Dworks as its a great idea...

Great idea, Shame they have not got it 100% yet, mine went back as well just stopped working, when it did work it was great to be able to just get a cup of tea at the press of a button,I would wait for version two, As it is not reliable yet, And could be a little hotter to boot 6/10 tefal

I guess people have different levels of 'hot' to suit them...but by the looks of things..ie:reviews....most of them seem negative

for I...I like my cuppa steaming

I guess thats why they advertised it as 'hot' water and not 'boiling'

I bought one of these from Costco at the weekend. Only £39! I love it. It makes piping hot tea (and I also like my tea hot!), you can programme it to deliver the perfect measure (if you want to). Basically, it does what it says on the tin. I simply can't understand all the bad reviews on Amazon.

I would highly recommend this to anyone. Believe me, I'm fussy!
