Very small for a slow cooker. Seems a fair price for what it is though

Very small for a slow cooker. Seems a far price for what it is though

It isn’t the biggest at all, but it is very good at what it does. It’s been called an overpriced rice cooker previously on here, but whilst it is amazing at cooking rice, it does a lot more and very well. Great price too

I guess it depends how you want to use it. There's only the two of us but we tend to do stuff in batches and freeze it for later. Ours is a 3.5l and will do maybe 6-8 portions of stew. But it's not big enough to do 8 portions of chilli, I have to do that on the hob in the big pan. But if you're just wanting to use it for one meals-worth, it'll be fine.
Who ever buy this please buy with extra 3 year warrenty. I have this fron 2014 every year it will have some issues.1 st one showing error 0, 2nd one open while cooking. 3 rd one halfway go to warm mode.

I use this all the time and it does about 6 good portions
I've had one for several years now, I think it's great. I use it mostly for rice - I particularly like using it for sticky Japanese rice.

The slow cooker function is fine, especially as it has a timer and keep warm setting. It's not the biggest but it's big enough for a family meal.

Cleaning is mostly convenient - the main bowl can go in the dishwasher, there's a number of other parts that cannot, but they don't really get 'dirty' so are easy and quick to clean.
I saw a Wilko Multicooker for £30. I think its similar and isnt a pressure cooker though. Any thoughts?

[Added possible aluminium non stick inner pot, 2 year warranty]

I remembered trying to decide when seeing this Wilko one or a rice cooker and went for a rice cooker because it had a glass lid so I could see inside. Old fashioned I know. But am curious if not being able to see in, affects your cooking contentment/satisfaction.

This seems very popular. In fact 140 of the I don’t know how many people who bought this have gone back to the wilko website to write a review. It would be interesting to read their pro or cons
I have the older model of this which I picked up at Asda for £15 when they were selling them off. I have had it for 8 years and it is still going strong
We've got a few of these in family, they're good as rice cookers but I like them because you can put your porridge in before bed , set the timer and wake up to just cooked, really good porridge. The lid is a pain to clean though if you don't thoroughly wash rice before cooking.

These were £11 in Sainsburys last year believe it or not. £36 has been the standard good price for one though.
