OP - sizes would be helpful.
Tefal: the budget brand. These are probably worth £10 given Tefal pans all seem to wear out in a year (I've owned several, don't know why I keep going back. Actually I do: they're super cheap. But this is for a reason).
I am frequently mystified as to whether or not a frying pan left on a stove for 2 minutes is hot, so for me the red-dot gadget is a godsend.

Come on boffins, when are we getting a blue-dot gadget for my icecube tray?
