who won, who won!!!!

Saw these today too. Think they are from the basic range. Very thin and therefore not very good. Will not stand to the high temperature stir fry needs.

this is an incredible price. I hardly use any other pan/pot in the kitchen but a Tefal wok. First got it to make stirfries, but anything cooks really well in it, much better than a pan because it has high walls so the food does not jump over

Unfortunately no Asda near me. Still hot though!

I think you need to go to a photography class buddy :-)

Please make sure food is dead before cooking, I find it stops the 'jumping' around

no I haven't seen your poodle!

Macc Lads..!!! great song..

Hot have some heat OP

I would NOT recommend a teflon coated wok to anyone, you should really aim for a carbon steel wok.

Whats the other tefal bargains?

So you dont vote on a hot deal because you dont like thin Woks.

Good reasoning there :-/

From my years of experience, Tefal woks are only as good as the hob and rings on which you use them. With stir-fry Chinese cooking, the bottoms of Tefal wok and deep frying pans do buckle under intense heat and become a bit permanently lumpy which shows that heat distribution isn't as good.

From my years of experience I have never known a Tefal wok or pan to buckle.

paid £21 for a tefal wok about 4 years ago, still as good as new,so no point in me taking up this deal and buying a new one...heat added for a very good deal!

HOT! Shames wont be able to go round to ASDA until weekend

Still scan at £12 at asda living in Leeds. What a shame. I really want one.

Anyone successfully got this today?

Good find...heat added...even though this might be store specific

As Blu states above, the best Woks are mild steel. The 'Nonstick' Tefal type Woks don't allow you to 'season' the Wok. You can get Mild Steel Nonstick Woks but the high temperatures that many Chinese dishes require, can damage the nonstick coating on mild steel.

Well, I need a new cooker. I'm afraid that I get through about one or two Tefal woks or pans per year because I'm cooking stir-fries about 3-4 times per week with several dishes at a time (using the same wok). It depends how much stir-fry you do and how hot you heat the wok. I'm using a Prestige one at the moment.

Good deal...

Need one for an induction hob tho, please can you let me know if a magnet sticks to the bottom of the pan!
