Problem with cheap cookers is that you pay for what you get. Particularly the ovens.

We had a cheap Kenwood range cooker for ten years and thought that we were rubbish at cooking anything in the oven.

Until we bought a Rangemaster and the world changed. And I know its significantly more expenseive - but there is a reason for that.

If you can use the £1 Which trial to see if this cooker has been tested or look at an alternative around the same price with a good rating.

Aye, looking at the rangemaster kitchener 100 but cant find it anything below £1300.
Looks a good deal. I am not convinced that cookers are made to last anyway. I bought a rangemaster 4 years ago. The knobs have come unstuck and revolve around so you don't know how high the setting is. The auto ignition is sporadic and ceased working on one of the burners. The oven shelves don't slide in smoothly and the general construction is thought out so as to make it not use it. Eg screws into top and awkward bits to clean. Looked at dearer cookers and they just had heavier grill pans. Other qualty makes are no better. If I was looking for a cooker I would be tempted by this.

Rangemaster or Stoves. The cheap ones don't last.
That's a big oven to heat up every time you want to cook some chicken nuggets
Didn't they used to make sound equipment ?
