Got this for my phone last time around & its still on there now doing a fine job.
You can usually get these on eBay for previous gens (just about any phone too) for the same price.
dont buy cheap glass screen protectors, they are good for scratches nothing else, if you drop your phone it will NOT protect your mobile
Just put mine on.heat added tnx
if you bought this and dropped the phone and the screen gets smashed could you not put a claim in against poundworld ?
These are good BUT check the contents before you leave the shop, got home and nothing inside. Security seal looked fine so they may have a packaging issue!!

Now that would be interesting.

If you're concerned I'd spend a little bit more than a pound to protect your screen.
Dropped mine on its screen side a few times with a cheap glass protector on and it's saved the screen from damage every time. The corners of the SP have been chipped due to the drop, but the actual screen is completely undamaged. People saying "spend more than £1 to protect your iPhones screen".... so £3 or £4 is ok then ? Any screen protector won't protect it if you are plain careless.
Dropped my iPhone 4 or to be more precise someone knocked it off a bench about 4ft high. Landed face down on a tiled floor & survived without a crack!

Where does it say it prevents the screen from being smashed? I can't see that anywhere?
I'm pretty are meant to protect from scratching, not dropping. That said, it may help if dropped but I doubt it's a guarantee.

the whole purpose of these screen protectors are to resist scracthes and act as a sacraficial layer to protect the screen underneath. just having a glass screen protector on a phone is not going to prevent damage to the phone rather using it with a case would provide all round protection. Weakest points are the corners which screen protectors dont cover.

Never buy a cheap dinner jacket because it won't protect you if you fall into a vat of acid!!
OTOH, if you want a decent, cheap screen protector to stop scratches, buy this - it's great.
I have one on my 6 and it's the best screen protector i've used.
guys buying a 600 pound mob please don't go for these cheap ones....when slipped it will break your protector along with your Friday digitiser
Was in the Wigan, Bobbins Park store and they had a few on the shelf for those who want one in the Wigan area
There are some available that will protect your screen from cracks. If you have a decent case I don't see a problem with using one of these.
Respect to people who can put these on bubble free. I've wasted umpteen protectors and always ended up with pesky bubbles, even after following various YouTube tutorials. And just when I thought that getting it on my phone was hard enough, you should see the shambles I made of my iPad!

Was it a glass or plastic? Glass is much better, and more expensive ones normally work much better too then cheap ones, no bubbles. Just be sure to use the alignment sticky tape.
For those daft enough to pay inflated iphones prices (that a tv prog exposed only cost about 6 pounds to make in the far east sweat shops, ), it would be better to get home insurance cover to specifical cover the name of the phone or phone cover it self for accidental damage as well as theft.
Screen protectors are to protect the screen from scratches not from butter finger owners.

Have you got a link? Every story I've seen shows that just the parts to make an iPhone are a few hundred dollars...
I can verify that these DO WORK! Bought & fitted one on Monday. Just knocked my phone off of the arm of sofa & it hit the cast iron leg of the industrial crank table I have. At first I thought I had cracked my screen but then realised that it was just the screen protector! Yay!!
These aren't glass - they're TPU plastic. 'Tempered TPU' (whatever that is). You can tell they aren't glass because they aren't as cold to the touch. The Poundland ones are better in that respect.
