Got the mw3 from box.co.uk works perfectly, for my circumstances, and took all of 5 mins to set up. Think the diffenec with these is the do over 100mps if you need that
Bought mine at £100 from Curry’s for my parents. Brilliant bit of kit and I can help support them anywhere in the world with my login!
I've been looking at the MW3 for £80 on Amazon for a while but gone for these as the next model up for an extra tenner. And better than some of the other deals here which don't have the UK plugs. Thanks for posting
No voucher to click on..
Am I missing something? Where is the voucher?
Account specific I guess. Good price if you can get it.
Doesn’t seem to be on my account either. Shame as I would be all over this at that price
I'm confused about the 100mb thing? So if I get the standard ones as my internet is only 60mb, I can't then use the standard ones if I get upgraded to 150mb?

I think you should be fine. The node you would plug into your home network or internet connection has a 1 gigabit connection, and they all have 5Ghz wireless, and the spec says they have a theoretical max of 867 megabits per second. As long as the wireless connection around the mesh network exceeds the 150Mbps you mention, you should be fine. Unfortunately that will all depend on the distance each of the nodes are places from each other, the internal construction of the building they are in, and electromagnetic interference caused by electrical devices and other sources.

Assuming you are talking about the mw3s you can use the but your maximum speed would be 100mbps I don’t think they have 1gbps connector

Spec

According to the above link, one of the nodes has a gig connection, and 2 of the nodes have 100Mbps connection. As its a mesh, you would hard wire to your gig capable node, and the rest is handled by the mesh and wireless.

Yes for internet as it uses Ethernet, but wireless device to wireless devices would be quicker then that. Either way to me a £10/20 upgrade removes that problem and is well worth it to future proof even if you don’t need it now

This model (MW5) wouldn’t be capped the other one that has come up in conversation/been referred to is the MW3 model which would be capped

Exactly that. You could have the quickest internet available but it will only ever be 100mbps download over WiFi with these.

The next model up would allow you to download at higher speeds (I have the MW6 and get 210mbps)

Google WiFi -

Speed tests with Google Wifi max out at 600 Mbps down and about 850 Mbps up, while my speedtest.net goes to 950 / 950 consistently (I have 1 Gbps service, minus overhead

there is number of videos on youtube comparing both. it literally is a difference of 2%
for example this looks at MW6 (pretty much the same) vs google wifi....

considering you get 3 nodes for 90 quid vs 3 google wifi for 329 (260 when discounted) I think the choice is obvious.

I have MW3 and its brilliant (paid 50 quid) my VM is only 100mb and thats more than enough to stream 4k content
If I even need to upgrade or anything all I need to do is to buy one MW6 node and it still will be cheaper than Google or BT and will have bigger coverage

So why would you only need one MW6 node?

Apparently, these won't work with the Sky Q hub?

MW3 has only 100mbs ethernet
MW6 has 1gbps ethernert
MW5 is basically 1x MW6 Node + 1 or 2 MW3 nodes. you plug the MW6 (faster) node into your router and you have the full benefits of the MW6 system. I have not tried that but would imagine it would work (will see when VM will upgrade me).

I cannot comment on Tenda and Sky Q but my brief google search found no related results. some issues are related to random devices not connecting

Edit checked amazon reviews and people with sky q have no issues

no. MW3 is limited to 100mbits/s on the ethernet slot (MW5 and MW6 are 1gbits/s)
I have VM 100mbit connection and in real world I get minimum 75 and 90mbit max (sorry for the mbps/mbit etc can never get my hed round it lol).
but like Ive said I dont need more than 100 anyway as it covers all my needs. PS4 is connected to LAN and rest is wireless. connection is solid with full wifi reception even in the garden (I have to be 20m away for it to drop significantly and that behind the garage)

Ah ok so if I had a 200mb connection, I could still use the MW3, but would get slower speeds via ethernet, but still top speed via WiFi?

I dont actually know for 100%
I'm not IT savvy but based on other people comments it would appear that max wifi would be limited to 100mbit

happy to be corrected tho.

Do these do WPS?
Installed mine yesterday in about 10 min. Got a virgin media box so went into admin settings and disabled the WiFi. Set the Nova to be the same SSID and password so you don't have to setup every device again. Very impressed with the speeds and coverage so far. The app is also very easy and helpful.

Don't think so but think I've only ever used wps once. If you set the same ssid and password you won't need to reconfigure all your devices.
