New promotion of a three pack of MW3s with a free MW6. Great price for this kit. Highly recommend this for a faultless mesh network at home. I would use the MW6 as the master from the router with its better range.

Good price. Have this exact set up. Been BERY good.
I’ve 3 MW3 and it’s amazing. Hoping for an additional MW6 near Black Friday to complete it. Paid not much off this just for the MW3’s alone. Simplest set up and just works. No hesitation!
Great deal! You won't get better bang for your buck than this.
I also have exact same setup and its faultless.
Please add including delivery in total to make it £83.46, Yes they do charge delivery. Voted hot.

Why would you need the MW6?

I have the exact same set up and not sure if the MW6 to add anything?
The MW6 allows all of the MW3s to work at speeds above 100MBPS. The MW3s Ethernet port is capped at 100, the MW6 is gigabit.
If you get the MW6 please don’t update it to v17 of the firmware.
I got this exact same pack and since the update it drops signal constantly and only works again after a reboot. Frustrating as hell.
I’m a little confused on what I’d get, is it 4 boxes in total (3 x Mesh MW3 and a MW6 router?) or just 3 Mesh Boxes?
Tried looking for YouTube reviews and there only seems to be 3 boxes in a kit?

Just purchased earlier via the eBay site. I can confirm you get 3x MW3s and 1x MW6

Thanks, and thanks OP, ordered.
For those on the fence:Just did a bit of reading up, if you’re in a recent new build with FTTP you can ditch your crappy ISP modem router and plug the openreach box straight into this and away it goes.
For the morons among us. I have an Asus router. Do I still require this, or is that in the wind?
I’ve been meaning to sort out my WiFi coverage for a while so have just ordered these.

So I’ll plug the MW6 into my current router and set up the WiFi from that (turning off the WiFi on the current router) but can I plug in devices into the Ethernet port of the MW3’s once placed around the house ie replace a homeplug/power line adapter with the single Ethernet port?
Do you need to put them in specific places around the house?

I really don’t know tbh but it sounds like it’d work. The MW3 are so good that I’m not sure you need the Ethernet, but I’ve limited knowledge. All I know is that these just work - we’re a 2 bed 2 person home. No more selecting which coverage is best with extenders it just connects.

Thanks. I’ll give it a go when they arrive.
Yes you can plug devices into the mw3s with a cable, I've got a couple of devices connected like that because sometimes devices don't connect to the nearest unit.

Google Home is a completely different product, doesn't extend WiFi whatsoever.

Ah right. Just had a look and can't see any benefit of getting the Google WiFi, except being fleeced at over 3 times the price of this deal
I was just reading the MW6 User Guide to find if there's VLAN support - it doesn't look like there is. But there is a "maintenance schedule" setting that allows you to automatically reboot the nodes on a regular basis at a time of your choosing... "to keep the nova nodes in good condition". Anyone that knows anything about embedded devices knows this is a euphemism for clearing RAM after memory leaks :-)
I've never used these devices, so I'm not commenting on there goodness or otherwise.
I received my 3 MW3's and MW6 today from ebuyer. The MW6 came with firmware 17 firmware and is absolutely rubbish. The MW3's are twice as fast so I'm leaving the MW6 disconnected until Tenda fix the issue with version 17 firmware.

I just checked my order status and noticed this. An absolute steal!
I'm very interested in these. Can anyone vouch for their suitability for gaming? I would potentially be using an Xbox One and PS4 which would be connected to the MW3.

I've written something similar on Amazon reviews and other Hukd posts.

Went to v17 and it was unworkable and there was no way to go back the v16.

Tendas support stopped working... Email the support alias and the emails bounce back saying their email server is Full
Can anyone help me? I have connected the MW6 to my router as primary node and that works fine.
However when I try to set up the MW3s as secondary nodes the app searches and then says "no new nodes".
The MW3 blinks green for a while and then goes red

Its driving me mad because everyone said they were plug and play

Thanks, purchased. Was going to wait for black Friday sales for the MW6 to be reduced, but this seems a better deal as I get 4 devices and never considered that I only needed the MW6 for connecting to the router anyway... Heat
My MW3's have v1.0.0.27 firmware, is it safe to update to v1.0.0.31? Are there any known issues?

Based on my experience with the MW6.. If they are working, I would not upgrade
I have several echo dots and since installing the Tenda Nova"s there is lag between them when playing music on the everyway group. I assume this is because they are connected to different nodes, sounds awful. Also Spotify keeps disconnecting every few minutes.

I had the exact same issue.
I ended up setting one of the MW3s as the primary device and used the MW6 as a node and they all set up as expected.
Kinda defeated the object of having the MW6 in the first place as you lose Ethernet speed but I’m don’t really need it anyway so it’s ok.
You may be able to switch the MW6 back to being the primary once they’re all set up though
eBay £20% of brings it to about £66. Shane I ordered direct last night

If you and a friend have a small house each, can you split the the 4 mesh routers into 2 x 2 mesh networks so it can work for 2 houses?
