Ebuyer normally has these for not much more with a free Nova MW6 which allows you to then exceed 100 Mbps which these are limited to due to their 100 Mbit ethernet port. Well worth the little extra for up to 10 times more speed

Bang for buck I’d choose these, significant improvement over my old WiFi extenders. For anyone with broadband up to 100Mbps these will work great as AC1200.
Went for the bt ones after comments about these being average

What would someone recommend for 200mbps? I get a 50-100mb drop off currently from being next to my router compared to where my office is?

i.e. Next to router: 180mbps. Office: 60-100mbps

I’m looking at the MW6 set
I can wholeheartedly recommend buying these. Got them yesterday and has resolved our long running, wi-fi deadspots. Now getting same speeds as the router shows throughout the house.
Can anyone confirm if you can set these to ap or bridge mode?
Cheers OP. Tried to price match at Currys but they refused as amazon don't fulfill the order; it's sold by iclickuk.
On the brightside, Amazon do now have a few in stock (11) so managed to get one from them
I had to return this one. It was absolutely terrible. Kept on dropping my connection. Although very subtle and you won't notice if you're watching streaming shows or on your phone but with my work, I get disconnected from my work server and keeps on retrying the connection. I went and bought the TP-Link Deco M4 instead and works so much better.
Anyone had issues with Hive heating with these?

Just set mine up tonight and thought they were working until I opened the Hive app and it said everything was offline.

I've set them up using bridge mode, both the Hive hub and master Nova node are plugged into the back of my router.

When I unplugged the master node from the router, everything instantly came back online in the Hive app. So it's just having the Nova connected that's putting the Hive offline, even though the Hive hubs not using it.

There's no obvious IP conflicts as that was my first thought but I'll have a go at sorting it tomorrow and maybe try a static IP for the Hive hub.

The tends WiFi app was saying "failed to connect to Nova" occasionally for me, and running speed tests seemed to sometimes hang initially, and when starting the upload part.

I'm due to work from home tomorrow afternoon so will see if I get similar with our VPN.

Me too, same issues.
Randomly drops WiFi from second and third unit. If I stay on the primary its fine.
Tried wireless and wired back haul, same with both.
Will return and try the tp link units I think.

yeah good idea, TP Link Deco doesn’t drop connection. Everything is solid. Only downside is that you can’t force a device to connect to a certain node.

Was thinking of trying the E4s (currently £89 at amazon).
They are for my parents so nothing super fast required.

Hive is working again now so maybe an IP conflict after all. Not noticed the WiFi drop outs since either so might have been the same issue.
